BEFORE photo - occupied home staging consultation. Suggestions included removal of stored personal items and neutralize bedding. An ottoman was moved to beneath the window to create a "reading nook" from another location where it was being stored, unused. Buyers will now be able to see a neutral, move-in ready Guest Room, which offers plenty of room and privacy for visitors. The reading nook now offers added value for potential buyers, over the previous storage space.

Side by side washer and dryer on pedestals under wall cabinets. A large island was placed in the middle of the mudroom and offers so many storage opportunities. Walnut countertops were used on the perimeter and island. Built in lockers on the perimeter offer each person in the family a place to store their everyday items. An overmount sink was used on the perimeter for a utility area. The subzero refrigeartor panels were painted with dry erase paint and house the family calendar.

Increase your storage space with the Over the Door Premium Bedroom Kit. Maximize unused space behind your door by hanging your most frequently used personal items and shoes for quick and easy access. This kit includes two Shoe Racks and three Baskets that are perfect for storing accessories. Over the Door accessories fit securely into place with our patented locking system. Move components around and add to this kit at any time! Installation is easy; only an Allen wrench is required.

When it comes to storing bits and bobs, the more creative, the better. Small containers of varying materials and uses add character to personal spaces while creating organization. Here, a ceramic egg crate, which Chelsea found at World Market, serves as a perfect means to store earrings.

A walk-in closet is a luxurious and practical addition to any home, providing a spacious and organized haven for clothing, shoes, and accessories.
Typically larger than standard closets, these well-designed spaces often feature built-in shelves, drawers, and hanging rods to accommodate a variety of wardrobe items.
Ample lighting, whether natural or strategically placed fixtures, ensures visibility and adds to the overall ambiance. Mirrors and dressing areas may be conveniently integrated, transforming the walk-in closet into a private dressing room.
The design possibilities are endless, allowing individuals to personalize the space according to their preferences, making the walk-in closet a functional storage area and a stylish retreat where one can start and end the day with ease and sophistication.

When designer Rachel Peterson of Simply Baths, Inc. first met this young, stylish couple at their house they had a small handful of items they knew they really wanted in their master bathroom: a freestanding tub, a chandelier, a larger shower and more counter space. But the truth was, the bath needed a major face-lift. The space was outdated and lacked personality. It certainly didn't reflect the homeowners and their elegant aesthetic. The combination of stone and wood tiles lends just enough of a rustic flair to bring a little bit of the outdoors in and while helping to balance some of the feminine elements in the room with simple masculine touches.

An Upper West Side studio oasis decked out in ethereal, global, glam style. Originally a small, white box of an apartment with no personality, we infused the space with subtle prints and patterns, including hand-painted pinstriped walls and LABLstudio's own Gemma - Sapphire removable wallpaper, to create a relaxed yet layered feel. We accessorized the space with bold pops of color, using items like a magenta feather juju as wall art, and an eclectic mix of patterned pillows to tie it all together.

This is one of my favorite room make-overs. The total cost of this space was under $1,000. A dresser was re-purposed from the bedroom to be used as a serving console. It added so much character and personality. Finding new uses for old items is a "green" concept and great for your budget, and the environment! Hey, in this case, the savings may even make the food taste better! :-) Photo by TRANSFORMATIONS, LLC
