Minimalist powder room photo in Miami

After going through the tragedy of losing their home to a fire, Cherie Miller of CDH Designs and her family were having a difficult time finding a home they liked on a large enough lot. They found a builder that would work with their needs and incredibly small budget, even allowing them to do much of the work themselves. Cherie not only designed the entire home from the ground up, but she and her husband also acted as Project Managers. They custom designed everything from the layout of the interior - including the laundry room, kitchen and bathrooms; to the exterior. There's nothing in this home that wasn't specified by them. Dedicated laundry room - mid-sized transitional single-wall porcelain tile and gray floor dedicated laundry room idea in Orange County with an undermount sink, shaker cabinets, white cabinets, solid surface countertops, a side-by-side washer/dryer and gray walls

This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. Copper piping was used inlace of traditional handrail to add to the texture of the staircase. The stairs are the original 100+ year-old wood stairs that access main street.
