I'm The Man ServicesThis custom floating deck was built to solve a tricky side-yard challenge—snow accumulation, uneven terrain, and obstructed access to basement window wells. We installed a sleek, weather-resistant composite deck system that floats above the grade and steps cleanly over two basement egress windows.
The deck provides a dry, level walking surface in an otherwise sloped, icy zone. It’s built with proper clearance for drainage and venting, and framed with a self-supporting platform that keeps all utilities accessible. The fascia is mitered clean, matching the modern look of the home while protecting the framing below.

JMC Home RemodelingThe owners of this 80’s contemporary-style bath longed for a more elegant bathroom that would blend with the traditional look of the rest of their home.
Though the existing master bath was large, it did not optimize its space for utility or aesthetics. JMC removed the walls that separated the toilet, an existing platform tub, and an oversized linen closet that was eating up space. Now a beautiful, freestanding tub becomes the focal point under the vaulted ceiling with skylight. A new, two-person shower with storage shelves replaces the former dark stall shower. An expansive custom vanity offers plenty of light and storage including rollout trays and drawers. Next to the vanity, a half-wall provides privacy for the toilet area, yet doesn’t impede on the overall flow of the bathroom. Additionally, a beautiful custom furniture piece functions as linen storage.
We carefully added traditional details throughout that enhance and compliment the existing contemporary vaulted ceiling, yet blend with the rest of the home. Custom paneling, moldings, and a corner wall column create beautiful traditional details. Our clients now have the stunning bath space they envisioned.

ConstructeamThis project was an update, through and through. There were no issues with the existing bathroom, but it was definitely becoming dated. The biggest change was the removal of the wallpaper - the painted walls with the wainscoting surrounding the tub give the bathroom a modern look.
Next was the vanity. We got rid of the old-style full-height mirror and replaced it with 2 smaller ones. The homeowner told us they never utilized the empty space in the middle, so we added some additional cabinetry there to give them more storage space.
We re-used the existing tub, but replaced all of the gold fixtures and trim rings with chrome to match the sink faucets and other accessories throughout the bathroom. A nice quartz was used throughout the bathroom, including the vanity countertop and the platform the bathroom rests in.
The higher-than-normal wainscoting, the neutral colors, and the LED lighting give this bathroom an updated look while preserving the "cabin on the water" feel that the homeowner wanted.

The main level consists of a courtyard, spa, master suite, kitchen, dining room, living areas, wet bar, large mudroom with ample coat storage, a small outdoor pool off the spa as well as a focal point entry and views of the lake. The second level has four bedrooms, two of which are suites, a third bathroom, a library/common area, outdoor deck and views of the lake, indoor courtyard and live roof. The home also boasts a lower level complete with a movie theater, bathroom, ping-pong/pool area, and home gym. The interior and exterior of the home utilizes clean lines and warm materials. It was such a rewarding experience to help our clients to truly build their dream.

Ball HomesThe elegant two story Hudson plan combines traditional, formal styling with great livability and the potential for six bedrooms and four full baths. A two story foyer with balcony overlook creates a dramatic entry. Nine-foot ceilings are standard throughout the first floor, which has formal living and dining plus a family room with an impressive two-story bay window, and optional fireplace flanked by built-in bookshelves. The study can be converted to a first floor guest suite or sunroom option. The kitchen includes a barrel style island, huge walk-in pantry, and separate breakfast area. This indoor lap swimming pool measures 8'0' x 75'0", and is outfitted with an automatic swimming pool safety cover. What really makes this pool unque is the perimeter recircuation system. The gutter, which is a commercial competition gutter simliar to olympic and collegiate-level swim meet pools, has three chambers that are gravity fed with pool surge. The lowest chamber has a pump that automatically returns the swimmer surge to the pool, which has the effect of maintaining quiescence for lap swimming. This will prevent splash back from the sides, as well as maintaining the fastest surface available. This space also features a 7'0" x 8'0" hot tub at deck level, to warm up the swimmers and to help them get their muscles loose after a strenuous workout. The pool and spa coping are Valder's Wisconsin Limestone. The pool pumps are both variable-speed, and the pool is heated partially by utilizing a geothermal system.
