The client had a finished basement space that was not functioning for the entire family. He spent a lot of time in his gym, which was not large enough to accommodate all his equipment and did not offer adequate space for aerobic activities. To appeal to the client's entertaining habits, a bar, gaming area, and proper theater screen needed to be added. There were some ceiling and lolly column restraints that would play a significant role in the layout of our new design, but the Gramophone Team was able to create a space in which every detail appeared to be there from the beginning. A love of cooking and baking led this Monticello homeowner to remodel her kitchen. The cabinets were upgraded to a more sophisticated, classic- yet trendy style. Special touches included a specialty storage space in the toe kick, along with traditional vertical storage space for cookie sheets and pots and pans. Riverside Construction swapped the double ovens and refrigerator to create a proper cooking zone while adding the functionality of double ovens. We also removed soffits to gain a valuable glass cabinet display area. New quartz countertops created a clean and elegant work surface and a white 3×6 beveled backsplash with an art deco border and under-cabinet lighting rounded out this sophisticated kitchen design.

The homeowners of this beautiful Needham home approached our team with the goal of creating an inviting and functional outdoor living space for their young family. After many discussions to determine the exact features that would make this landscape complete, it was time to hit the drawing board. Taking this yard from a blank slate, it was necessary to craft a design with distinct and useful spaces. Comfortable, beautiful, and functional – this renovation reflects a great collaboration between the owners, interior designer, and our architectural designer. This family wanted to reconfigure their first floor to create a layout that suited their lifestyle. They were working with an interior designer but found they needed a full-service firm that could properly address some structural issues. Relocating the kitchen along the entire back of the house allowed for an expanded kitchen with a large island that has seating. To open the kitchen to the deck, we removed the standard sliding door and two windows, installed a header to support a larger opening, and introduced new sliding doors that are almost 12-feet wide and 7-feet high. The clients worked with the interior designer to select a beautiful blue-gray color for perimeter the cabinets. There is a pantry cabinet to the left of the fridge, and on the right is an appliance garage on the counter with a door that flips up and back. Below the appliance garage is an extra deep pull-out drawer for additional small appliances. A quartz countertop, farm sink, and cement accent tile at the range complete the look. Wall ovens on the other side of the island. The new taller and wider sliding glass door system provides a welcome connection to the deck.

Perfect Pools designed an outdoor space that worked well for this Vienna, VA home. We wanted to keep the proper amount of green space still while making the space functional. This pool is in the town of Vienna, so extra steps were needed for the permitting process. We used a Flagstone Patio with additional Bluestone Steppers to Landscape the area. This Pool has an Auto Cover to help not only with safety, but to also help retain heat for the cooler evenings. The interior finish is a SGM Riverrock Pebble.

Following discussions with the homeowner, they opted for a reconfiguration of the basement layout, which included the addition of a modern three-piece bathroom featuring a custom walk-in shower.
