This 1920s Spanish-style estate located in Beverly Hills had not been maintained or updated for several decades. The residence’s new design includes a 1,800-square-foot addition containing a large family room, kitchen, and service area. The rest of the first floor was reconfigured to provide a new connection to the backyard and “resort” vibe. The existing two-story accessory building was demolished and replaced by a new 1,400-square-foot building comprising a three-car garage and pool house. Between the residence and pool house is the remodeled backyard with a new pool and water wall, a large outdoor terrace, and an area for the clients’ two Bernese Mountain dogs to play. The project has drought-tolerant planting, a solar system, and the latest electronic smart home technology. Many design strategies allow the clients to age in place, including reducing level changes throughout the house and designing rooms for accessibility.

Custom black solid oak round table, The breakfast nook adds graceful contrast to the primarily neutral kitchen. Foscarini pendant lighting over the table, colourful pillows add to the playful element and compliments the Dover white marble splashes throughout.

Inspiration for a contemporary open concept dark wood floor family room remodel in Sacramento with a stone fireplace, a wall-mounted tv, white walls and a ribbon fireplace

Trendy l-shaped medium tone wood floor and brown floor kitchen photo in Phoenix with an undermount sink, flat-panel cabinets, dark wood cabinets, gray backsplash, stone slab backsplash, stainless steel appliances, an island and gray countertops

This beautifully executed Mediterranean kitchen remodel blends warm natural wood shaker cabinets with the refined elegance of a quartzite island. Brass hardware, a farmhouse sink, and a custom range hood add character, while panel-ready appliances and a full-height tile backsplash create a seamless look. The open concept design, warm color palette, and pendant lighting enhance the inviting atmosphere. A central island with seating offers generous prep space and a gathering spot for casual meals, making this kitchen both functional and welcoming—a perfect blend of traditional Mediterranean charm and modern practicality.

This whole-home transformation began with a vision: breathe new life into a stunning Mediterranean-influenced residence while honoring its architectural character, including soaring vaulted ceilings, dark wood beams, and graceful arched windows.
The complete kitchen remodel introduced a white shaker cabinetry suite, a natural white oak island, stone backsplash, panel-ready appliances, and custom linen pendant lights, seamlessly flowing into a redesigned dining area anchored by a custom built-in arched glass-front china cabinet and rattan chandelier.
The master bathroom refresh brought spa-like serenity with a painted barrel vault ceiling in soft sky blue, a sculptural petal flush mount, and refined finishes that feel both timeless and tranquil.
Throughout the living room, dining room, master bedroom, and guest room, every furnishing was thoughtfully selected: a blue velvet sofa, organic wood coffee table, cane bed, French settee, and chinoiserie accents layered against a warm neutral palette of cream, camel, and dusty blue. Custom draperies tailored in soft linen with delicate trim details were designed and installed in every room, tying the home together with a cohesive, light-filled elegance.
A whole-home paint refresh completed the transformation, unifying every space under a palette that is warm, sophisticated, and unmistakably livable.
The result: a home that feels curated, not decorated, and entirely, beautifully theirs.

An American black walnut island with Fyrn counter stools separate the kitchen and living room over a black, irregular-shaped flagstone floor.
An assemblage of textures and raw materials, the dark-hued, minimalist layout for the kitchen opens to living room with panoramic views of the canyon (behind the viewer). We dropped the kitchen ceiling to be lower than the living room by 24 inches. There is a roof garden of meadow grasses and agave above the kitchen which thermally insulate cooling the kitchen space. Wood siding of the exterior wraps into the house at the south end of the kitchen concealing a pantry and panel-ready column, FIsher&Paykel refrigerator and freezer as well as a coffee bar. Soapstone counter top, backsplash and shelf/window sill, Brizo faucet with Farrow & Ball "Pitch Black" painted cabinets complete the edges. The smooth stucco of the exterior walls and roof overhang wraps inside to the ceiling passing the wide screen windows facing the street. Fisher&Paykel wall oven over a steam oven at right.
Delta Light fixtures were used throughout for their discreet beauty yet highly functional settings.

Built to the exacting standards of a young, self-made couple, this design exemplifies their taste: clean, clear, crisp and ready for anything life may throw at them.
The dining room is ready for entertaining with a built in wine bar, buffet serving space and a table the couple purchased as newlyweds for sentimentality.

A stunning transitional kitchen featuring a blend of white and natural wood tones for a timeless two-tone design. This stunning modern farmhouse residence in Columbia, Tennessee, sits atop a transformed hilltop parcel, originally raw land that was expertly excavated to create a level 2-acre plateau. The site development included installing essential infrastructure such as paved roads, water lines, and electrical systems, turning an undeveloped ridge into a private, family-friendly haven with panoramic valley and mountain views.
The home features a crisp white board-and-batten and horizontal siding exterior, accented by natural stone foundations and stained timber beams for a perfect blend of rustic charm and contemporary edge. Dramatic black-framed windows flood the interior with natural light, while the dark asphalt shingle roof with gabled peaks adds depth and contrast. An expansive covered front porch, supported by cedar posts and topped with metal roofing, invites relaxation with seating areas overlooking the sunset. Additional highlights include an oversized two-car garage with white doors, a lower-level walkout basement ready for expansion, and smart-home-ready elements like energy-efficient construction. Twilight lighting accentuates the clean lines, making the house glow against the evening sky.
The landscaped yard is thoughtfully designed for everyday enjoyment, with manicured green lawns, gravel pathways, and low-maintenance shrubs lining the foundation. A circular asphalt driveway provides easy access and ample parking, curving gracefully around the property. In the backyard, a gravel patio area with a fire pit offers a cozy spot for gatherings, while a covered rear deck extends living space outdoors. The setup includes potential for additions like a pool, outdoor kitchen, or expanded entertaining zones, with features like a satellite dish and HVAC units discreetly placed for functionality without compromising aesthetics.
Perched on a scenic hilltop surrounded by wooded forests, the 2-acre lot provides plenty of flat, open space for children and dogs to play safely—ideal for games, picnics, or simply running free amid the fresh air. The elevated position ensures unobstructed, layered views of rolling hills, distant valleys, and seasonal foliage, creating a serene rural retreat feel. In summer, lush green trees frame the property; in fall and winter, bare branches reveal even broader vistas. This custom-developed site balances privacy, accessibility, and natural beauty, making it a true dream property for those seeking a luxurious escape in Tennessee's countryside.

This 1952 Huntington Woods bungalow once had a peninsula jutting into the space, cutting off the flow and making entertaining nearly impossible. The homeowners love to cook and gather with friends, so creating a space that felt connected and welcoming was key. By removing the peninsula and adding a run of shallow pantries opposite the cooktop, the new layout feels more open while also adding valuable storage. The countertop now wraps the corner into a built-in banquette where the couple can sit with guests just off the kitchen, keeping everyone part of the conversation. The cabinetry is designed for real, everyday cooking, with thoughtful details like angled utensil dividers, pegs for dishes and pans, a spice pullout, and tray dividers above the oven. Panel-ready appliances keep the space streamlined, allowing the materials to take center stage. The combination of moody blue base cabinets, white oak uppers, and brushed pewters hardware gives the kitchen a grounded, confident feel that fits the home’s character and the way the couple loves to live.
