When our client bought this house, it was stuck in limbo between the traditional interior and a 90's modern structure. The direction we took was a combination of calm beige color scheme with clean lines and smooth surfaces. The continuation of the same materials throughout the house finally bonded all the different spaces into a singular home. The two guest bathrooms were made with Cloe zellige style tiles and custom floating vanities made from white oak. The same oak was used also for the built-in TV wall as floating shelves and base cabinets with a large, tiled center piece for the recessed TV and the electric fireplace. The kitchen also received some of the white oak love in the form of the Island and the recessed cooking area. The biggest issue with the kitchen space was the lack of proportions between the width and its length vs. the extreme height of the vaulted ceiling. The solution I came up with was a secondary line of wall cabinets to be the same depth as the full height units to create a wrap around and make the space more proportionate. Continuing to the master bathroom, here we have a true walk-in master bath suite, no door needed with this size of space. All the walls received porcelain semi slab treatment. (72x36 porcelain tile) a lot of work went into selecting the correct tile pieces to give it the effect of a single slab installation but without the added cost. This master bathroom received a major update in a clean and transitional style. The original bathroom had a large drop-in tub with a small enclosed shower and an angled, wrap-around counter with under-mount sinks. The new design eliminated the tub, which was rarely if ever used, and replaced it with a large and spacious, curbless shower with a crisp and clean tile design. The vanities were separated into his and hers spaces with plenty of storage unique to each of the couple's needs. The closet also received a refresh with a sleek closet system to better fit storage needs, new carpet, and ample lighting.

This colorful Contemporary design / build project started as an Addition but included new cork flooring and painting throughout the home. The Kitchen also included the creation of a new pantry closet with wire shelving and the Family Room was converted into a beautiful Library with space for the whole family. The homeowner has a passion for picking paint colors and enjoyed selecting the colors for each room. The home is now a bright mix of modern trends such as the barn doors and chalkboard surfaces contrasted by classic LA touches such as the detail surrounding the Living Room fireplace. The Master Bedroom is now a Master Suite complete with high-ceilings making the room feel larger and airy. Perfect for warm Southern California weather! Entering the back yard is like entering an English garden. To ensure a seamless look between the original new parts of the house, we built the covered patio using the same German schist stone and timber framed stucco. Further, the stone’s pointing matches the original historic stone, and we used a gray grout for a weathered, aged look. The space is finished off with spiraled lattice iron works and all slate roof. At the end of the roof is an open truss timber frame in a cathedral design. Copper flashing at the joints protects the wood from water sitting in the spaces and eventually rotting the joints. The patio itself features a flagstone floor, built in gas grill, and the other side of the Rumford fireplace found in the family room. After scoring this amazing home, the clients were excited for their new lakefront location, but the home's style and materials were tired and dated. There was way too much mauve granite, and the 90's building codes were no longer satisfactory. Working as a team with Chuckanut Builders, Arbour North Architects and Smith and Vallee Woodworks, the home was gutted in order to prepare for a new interior layout, an addition to the second floor, and deep energy retrofits. Cork exterior insulation and new efficient windows were just two of the many upgrades this home received. Throughout the interior, flat panel walnut cabinets were installed on top of white oak floors. White quartz countertops and simple subway tile kept the home clean and contemporary. This European kitchen has several different areas and functions. Each area has its own specific details but are tied together with distinctive farmhouse feel, created by combining medium wood and white cabinetry, different styles of cabinetry, mixed metals, warm, earth toned tile floors, blue granite countertops and a subtle blue and white backsplash. The hand-hammered copper counter on the peninsula ties in with the hammered copper farmhouse sink. The blue azul granite countertops have a deep layer of texture and beautifully play off the blue and white Italian tile backsplash and accent wall. The high gloss black hood was custom-made and has chrome banding. The French Lacanche stove has soft gold controls. This kitchen also has radiant heat under its earth toned limestone floors. A special feature of this kitchen is the wood burning stove. Part of the original 1904 house, we repainted it and set it on a platform. We made the platform a cohesive part of the space defining wall by using a herringbone pattern trim, fluted porcelain tile and crown moulding with roping. The office area’s built in desk and cabinets provide a convenient work and storage space. Topping the room off is a coffered ceiling. In this classic English Tudor home located in Penn Valley, PA, we renovated the kitchen, mudroom, deck, patio, and the exterior walkways and driveway. The European kitchen features high end finishes and appliances, and heated floors for year-round comfort! The outdoor areas are spacious and inviting. The open trellis over the hot tub provides just the right amount of shelter. This Wyncote, PA home renovation project was a comprehensive transformation that modernized every aspect of the property. The kitchen received a stylish update with a new backsplash and refreshed cabinetry, complementing the overall aesthetic seamlessly. Throughout the main floor, we installed elegant crown molding, repaired and installed ceiling drywall as needed, and applied a fresh coat of paint to enhance brightness. Stairs were meticulously finished with sanded treads and white-painted risers, elevating the interior's appeal. The master bath was revamped with a new vanity, updated drywall, and replacement of window trim, while the master bedroom gained functionality with added closet rods and shelving. This farmhouse style home was already lovely and inviting. We just added some finishing touches in the kitchen and expanded and enhanced the basement. In the kitchen we enlarged the center island so that it is now five-feet-wide. We rebuilt the sides, added the cross-back, “x”, design to each end and installed new fixtures. Cork exterior insulation and new efficient windows were just two of the many upgrades this home received. The owners of this intimate mountain guest living room looked to Mountain Multivision and Sound designers to provide a high end audio video system that would look clean and aesthetically pleasing. Our team worked with renowned architect Jon Gunson and Rockridge Builders to accomplish the owner’s wishes. The SHARP LED television is seamlessly framed into the wood above the mantle. In ceiling SONANCE 5.1 surround sound and a SUNFIRE subwoofer provides impeccable acoustics while working in tandem with the MARANTZ surround sound receiver. A MIDDLE ATLANTIC rack holds audio video components such as the IPOD dock and the DIRECT TV receiver. Whole home control filters through an ELAN HOME SYSTEMS IPAD.

This Wyncote, PA home renovation project was a comprehensive transformation that modernized every aspect of the property. The kitchen received a stylish update with a new backsplash and refreshed cabinetry, complementing the overall aesthetic seamlessly. Throughout the main floor, we installed elegant crown molding, repaired and installed ceiling drywall as needed, and applied a fresh coat of paint to enhance brightness. Stairs were meticulously finished with sanded treads and white-painted risers, elevating the interior's appeal. The master bath was revamped with a new vanity, updated drywall, and replacement of window trim, while the master bedroom gained functionality with added closet rods and shelving. We also converted a front bedroom and bath into a convenient laundry and storage area, complete with new electrical wiring and improved fixtures. Outside, the deck and exterior received revitalization through pressure washing, railing repairs, and a fresh coat of paint, ensuring enhanced curb appeal and durability.
