The counter top is granite with River White color and Bull nose Edge. Besides the kitchen, the customer added a Butler’s pantry which also features Cabico Unique with the same door style and finish as well as the counter top.

BC&J Architecture designed a floating home that is now located at its permanent location on the Willamette River in Portland. The home was constructed at a Marina an hour from the final home location. Upon completion, the home was floated up the Willamette River to the current site.
The homeowners were looking for a river side, cottage style house well suited to entertaining. At 2,100 square feet, the home has an open floor plan with a large kitchen opening to a dining room and the living room with views onto the river.
Upstairs, the master bedroom extends toward the river under a large centered dormer. On the opposite side of the master bedroom is a bonus room under a symmetrical dormer that will serve as guest quarters when adult children and grandchildren visit.

Antique Skip Oak Flooring brings deep warm tones and rich texture into this stone walled lower level space, leading toward a wine storage nook framed by natural stone. Manomin Antique Skip Oak reclaimed wood flooring is milled from a mix of red and white reclaimed oak, salvaged from century old structures around the United States.
Underneath that antique veneer are deep warm tones that drink up their surroundings and reflect a truly unique look, unobtainable without reclaimed wood. Our Antique Oak Planks are skip planed, a process where only enough wood is milled off the surface of the boards to level them out, leaving a distressed look that bears the marks of the milling on giant saws more than 100 years ago.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner looking to bring reclaimed wood flooring into a basement, wine room, or any room in your home, Manomin Resawn Timbers has been helping people discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood since 2002. See the addition? No, it's not the section on the left - that's the garage - it's the section on the right, behind the reddish Maple tree. We worked to integrate the new space with the existing so that it looks like it was always part of the home.
The addition includes the Billiard Room, a new bedroom and (2) new bathrooms, as well as an expansion of the Laundry Room and the covered patio.
We also expanded a room on the back of the house - not seen in this photo.

fireplace was originally painted a reddish-orange (or orange red?) so we painted a more neutral darker olive green/gray that would show reds and oranges (and in this case, blues and gold) well. Property was vacant so furniture was brought in to show space was larger than expected.

This customer decided to upgrade a fairly new townhome ‘stock-kitchen’ to better suit their tastes. The original kitchen, just like everyone else’s in the development, featured a solid veneer slab style of door and drawer front in a reddish oak veneer. The pulls were more aesthetic than functional.
The owners opted to reface their kitchen cabinetry in a very warm and inviting Cherry veneer done in a Milano stain. They chose an upgraded cabinet front, using a raised panel solid Cherry door and drawer front, which gave their ‘new kitchen’ a very rich and welcoming look and feel. Arched Amerock brushed nickel pulls were chosen to highlight the new cabinet door design. Blum softclose hinges were used to further modernize this customer’s newly renovated kitchen.
Since completion, this customer is extremely pleased with the transition and outcome – a new kitchen look that beautifully sets their home apart from the rest of their neighbors within the complex.

Antique Southern Yellow Pine Flooring brings rich amber and honey tones with warm reddish undertones into this dramatic elevated walkway, framed by heavy timber trusses and a stone chimney. Our Southern Yellow Pine is milled from boards salvaged from textile mills in the Southern United States, named for the sturdiest and most decay resistant part of the tree.
This reclaimed wood flooring carries the natural bright tones of pine with an added amber patina that brings a rich warmth lacking in modern lumber. At Manomin Resawn Timbers, every board goes through a detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, preserving that antique character while performing beautifully in any space.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner looking to bring reclaimed wood flooring into a walkway, hallway, or any space in your home, Manomin Resawn Timbers has been helping people discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood since 2002.
