The Toscana’s design is sophisticated and soothing with an eclectic mix of modern art and clean-lined furnishings. This transitionally stylized home has luxury written all over it with its soft neutral tones accented with slate blue. The colors create a sophisticated, airy vibe that future homebuyers will love. Darker furnishings were incorporated into the design to add a “weight” and contrast to the light colored interiors. The 12 X 24 tile in the main areas of the home is in a light, warm-toned neutral with pale browns accents. The rich wood beams in the bonus room grant a natural, warm and compelling contrast to the space. As often happens when Beasley & Henley installs a model, people pay attention and the Toscana was no exception. We approach each project with a firm understanding of the buyers which results in a finished project that represents perfection. This client loves beautiful furniture but equally loves to remain within her budget. She often shops clearance but will easily merge custom pieces into her space to complete the look. She has a collection of random treasures and we incorporated them into the design of the room. Her design style is modern with a global and timeless touch. Her colors choices are greys and neutrals. With this family room, the inspiration came from an Ethan Allen brochure image. She wanted to achieve the same concept, but more modern perspective. A clearance Conway sectional, is the foundation of the space and an assortment of custom pieces were added to finish the design. This client purchases in phases, and with her patience is key. Over 12 months of working together, we created the family room of her dreams. As designer, my job is to deliver no matter the circumstance. I love this room because it represents just that.

This contemporary space was designed in the vision of its owners - a couple who mainly lived in Manhattan, Fifth Ave to be exact, and called Miami their second home. Our American-made, Arts and Crafts style Cherry Moon Furniture Collection represents traditional Vermont craftsmanship at its finest! This ultra-luxury, high end furniture line features all natural wood, hand-selected with great care. Crafted in the Montpelier area of VT, the Cherry Moon style has elements of Arts and Crafts, contemporary Asian and modern American design yielding a light but grounded appearance.

Designed and added this staircase to provide much needed space to this lakefront home. The kitchen was rebuilt with all IKEA cabinets which created a bar and additional storage. Love this fabulous color scheme which represents the clients fun style The custom staircase was added to access new loft area.

This carefully planned master suite incorporates varying shades of blue and nautical accents to create a romantic bedroom with a nautical twist. The marble and polished steel sectional coffee table's individual pieces imitate boat sails. The lighthouse shaped pendant lights on either side of the bed function to create more space on the nightstand. The round floor lamp in the corner is made of feathers, to represent sea birds. The dimensional wave wall conjures gentle seas. A strings of clear glass balls of the floor lamps and the tortoise patterned vase all give a give a nod towards the sea, tying together the suggestive nautical theme. Rich deep blue velvet curtains paired with white sheers allow privacy and room darkening from the floor to ceiling windows facing the Marina. The popup TV stand in the middle of the room was stained navy blue to pair with the blue painted support pillar.

This vintage Turkish Kilim pulls together a bold mix of colors. The motif alternates between flatweave solid stripes and ornate embroidered sections. While the flatweave sections are the same on the front as they are on the back, the embroidered sections have an unfinished back similar to hand-knotted rugs. History of This Design: Kilims represent an important and widespread tradition in rug weaving, as they are commonly produced in villages and by nomadic tribes. Their motifs are determined by the individual weaver and often produced by memory, giving each kilim a unique character that reflects the tastes and perspective of individual artisans. Because of the manner in which they are woven, kilims contain geometric and rectilinear patterns — the tight curvilinear floral motifs found in many hand-knotted rugs cannot be produced with this technique.
