Exposed timber in the lounge from repurposed old railway bridge beams from Australia. Tongue and groove ceilings, and wooden sash joinery complete the desired look with a crafted fire mantle from the exposed beam off cuts.

Some of the clients existing pieces were repurposed such as the pine sofa table but updated with hurricane candles and new gold and silver picture frames with various textures, shapes and sizes. A view into the powder room reveals the newly added Thibault sea grass large scall print wallpaper.

This lovingly restored Winnetka Heights Craftsman home was a pleasure to work on. My clients, a young married couple with two sweet pups, enjoy collecting unique items from their travels and loved ones and wanted to incorporate them in the design. This was a special project for me because it aligns with my philosophy that our home should be a reflection of who we are. My goal was to pair these bespoke collectibles with modern and new furnishings, fabrics, and fixtures to create a harmonized design that truly reflected their nostalgic and well-traveled style. My approach involved enhancing the home’s character and charm while adding personalized details and modern touches. I reused preexisting furniture pieces, reupholstered chairs, and repurposed light fixtures to capitalize on sustainable and creative design all while focusing on strategic furniture placement and smart selections. From the photographs taken by her father in the dining room to the old coins framed and labeled in the front room, each item in their home told a unique story. The final result was a cohesive and personalized space that my client can joyfully call their home, reflecting their unique style and love for travel and bespoke items.

Client requested a refresh following the holiday season. Accessories were repurposed from other locations in the home to both be eco-friendly and budget conscious.

This home's formal living room was repurposed as the wife's home office. A new mirror wall of custom cabinetry was added to provide much needed storage. Two lounge chairs provide additional seating for family members. The blue and coral color scheme is a homeowner favorite.

This beautiful living room with stunning sea views is very large so was designed as several seating areas. Primary the more formal arrangement with sofas facing. The bespoke ottoman and the pillows add colour and pattern. The blue sofa adds a punch of stronger colour and can be pulled forwards to accommodate guests. The antique display cabinet was papered inside and repurposed as a drinks cabinet. A pair of very special vintage brass tables flank the fire place and are topped with vintage murano glass 1970's lamps to mix it up a bit !
