This meticulously restored mid-century modern bathroom evokes the era's signature style with a touch of modern luxury. Channeling the era's love of clean lines and geometric forms, vertical stacked tile graces the walls in a timeless arrangement. This design element creates a sense of height and spaciousness, while the frameless glass shower enclosure maintains an open and airy feel. The warm wood grain of the vanity and the soft lighting add warmth to the otherwise minimalist space. The natural stone countertop and polished nickel fixtures add a touch of luxury and elegance, while the simple lines and understated design remain true to the home's mid-century roots. The skylight allows ample natural light to flood the space, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

A mix of white painted and stained walnut cabinetry, with brass accents in the hardware and lighting - make this kitchen the showstopper in the house. Inspiration for a small coastal light wood floor sunroom remodel in Boston

A serenity room, tucked away next to the shower, is a warm, comfortable space for kicking your feet up and getting away from the stresses of the day. A heated lounger, provided by Bradford Products, adds a spa-like feel. Comfortable and classy, this lounge chair was inspired by the client's recent trip on a cruise. A Montigo L-series fireplace sits at the foot of the lounger, supplying ambient light and just the right amount of comfortable heat. A heated floor is the cherry on top of this serenity room sundae. The homeowners started by hiring an architect to develop a vision and plan for transforming their very traditional brick home into a contemporary family home full of modern updates. The Kitchen Studio of Glen Ellyn was hired to provide kitchen design expertise and to bring the vision to life. The bamboo cabinetry and white Ceasarstone countertops provide contrast that pops while the white oak floors and limestone tile bring warmth to the space. A large island houses a Galley Sink which provides a multi-functional work surface fantastic for summer entertaining. And speaking of summer entertaining, a new Nana Wall system — a large glass wall system that creates a large exterior opening and can literally be opened and closed with one finger – brings the outdoor in and creates a very unique flavor to the space. Matching bamboo cabinetry and panels were also installed in the adjoining family room, along with aluminum doors with frosted glass and a repeat of the limestone at the newly designed fireplace.
