This retaining wall project in inspired by our Travertina Raw stone. The Travertina Raw collection has been extended to a double-sided, segmental retaining wall system. We developed the segmented tissue technique for this customer. We painted a base color and then taped off segments into interesting shapes. We then applied a darker paint and glaze over the base coat and crumpled tissue paper which we used to remove some of the paint/glaze. The defining lines of the segments are slightly wider and darker than the lines from the tissue paper and add so much interest! Tomasz Worek XL VISIONS

A spacious colonial in the heart of the waterfront community of Greenhaven still had its original 1950s kitchen. A renovation without an addition added space by reconfiguring, and the wall between kitchen and family room was removed to create open flow. The owners of this New Braunfels house have a love of Spanish Colonial architecture, and were influenced by the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio. The home elegantly showcases their collection of furniture and artifacts. Handmade cement tiles are used as stair risers, and beautifully accent the Saltillo tile floor.

C-shaped pavilion has an outdoor kitchen at the left, a covered fire pit (with a custom copper hood) in the center, and a game area and bathroom on the right. Tapered slate columns match those at the front entry to the home.
