Marrying the husband’s organic sensibilities with the wife’s penchant for all things glam, Cool Gray is a modern family home perfect for intimate gatherings and relaxed family nights. Statement features include bespoke Trove wallpaper and a one-of-a-kind Swarovski crystal tree branch chandelier.

The goal of this whole home refresh was to create a fun, fresh and collected look that was both kid-friendly and livable. Cosmetic updates included selecting vibrantly colored and happy hues, bold wallpaper and modern accents to create a dynamic family-friendly home.

This "powder bath" is the only bathroom for downstairs guests in this gorgeous home, so we really had to give it some pop! Although labeled as a powder, there is actually a walk in shower in the room. We went with a calming blue palette with compliments of white, Calacatta gold marble, and french gold fixtures. Inspiration for a transitional powder room remodel in Los Angeles

"Sun-Kissed Sanctuary" reimagines the traditional dining room as a versatile haven, perfect for year-round conversation and creating a lasting first impression. This project catered to the client's desire for a space that seamlessly blends casual elegance with organic elements. The design team employed a calming palette of soft whites and airy blues, setting the stage for a serene escape. Textural harmony was achieved through a layered approach: radial plush linen chairs provided sumptuous comfort, while woven pillows and a shagreen-wrapped coffee table added a touch of rustic charm. A lush fiddle fig leaf plant, strategically placed in the space, injected a dose of life and echoed the organic design theme. Respectful of the existing foundation, we integrated the client's existing rug, a statement chandelier, and a captivating wall thread hanging into the new design. To elevate the space further, we introduced custom elements that instilled a sense of unique character. Hand-crafted wood beams and wall trim, reminiscent of a sun-drenched porch, added warmth and architectural interest. Oyster-hued wallpaper on the foyer ceiling provided a bold textural contrast and a touch of coastal sophistication. The added white trim was accentuated, drawing the eye upwards and creating a sense of verticality. The "Sun-Kissed Sanctuary" transcends the limitations of a traditional front room, offering a versatile space that invites relaxation and connection. This project exemplifies our ability to curate a space that is both elegant and inviting, perfectly reflecting the client's personality and lifestyle.

For this whole-home interior design project in Raleigh, NC, our team at Lavish refreshed the main living spaces with a collected, layered look that feels timeless rather than trendy. The living room design centers on a gallery wall of the clients' own art and travel finds, thoughtfully arranged above a supple camel leather sectional and grounded by vintage-inspired lumbar pillows and a concrete-look side table. In the formal dining room, textural botanical wallpaper wraps the vaulted ceiling, while a sculptural cascading chandelier, nailhead-trimmed host chairs, and layered drapery create an elegant setting for entertaining. A guest bedroom design pairs a brass scalloped fan-light fixture with soft blue florals and fluted casegoods for a serene, tailored retreat, and a shagreen console with brass legs and patterned poufs turns a simple hallway into a styled moment. As a full-service interior design firm in Raleigh, NC, Lavish handles everything from space planning and custom window treatments to art curation and final styling — so every room, from the living room to the dining room to the bedrooms, feels intentional and beautifully finished.

The small but mighty bar steals the show. We transformed the entire first floor, but the bar remains the overall fan favorite. The cabinets are constructed with a custom dark stained white oak with two dual temperature wine coolers. Upper shelves are illuminated with integrated LED lights to highlight the spirits and glassware, with an antique mirrored backsplash for an infinity look. The adjacent walls are covered in a faux red shagreen texture to tie in with the red tones in the European wallpaper and turkish rug in the dining room. The ceiling highlights a William Morris wallpaper with a crystal flushmount to add some sparkle to the room.
