Cold frames are a terrific way to extend the growing season on both ends; serving as mini-greenhouses they allow your garden to keep producing in cold weather months when growing would otherwise be impossible. These beautiful, locally made cedar cold frames measure 24″x 44″ and slope from 5″ in front to 24″ in back (custom built sizes are also available). A temperature sensitive piston automatically opens and closes the lid as-need to create a perfect climate for your plants.

This bathroom cabinet has white doors inset in walnut frames for added interest and ties both color schemes together for added cohesion. The vanity tower cabinet is a multi-purpose storage cabinet accessed on all (3) sides. The face is a medicine cabinet and the sides are his and her storage with outlets. This allows for easy use of electric toothbrushes, razors and hairdryers. Below, there are also his and her pull-outs with adjustable shelving to keep the taller toiletries organized and at hand.
Can lighting combined with stunning bottle shaped pendants that mimic the tile pattern offer controlled light on dimmers to suit every need in the space.

This was a really nice contemporary kitchen. The sink is by The Galley, it's an Ideal Workstation 5, single bowl. The perimeter cabinets are high gloss off white acrylic, and the island cabinet fronts are actually metal. This was a really fun project with the local contractor, Gerber Berend. The cooktop is a Wolf CG365C/S, notice the knobs are on the cabinet front.

We are delighted to have completed the radical transformation of a tired detached property in South Croydon.
When they appointed Granit, our clients were living in the property which had previously been divided into a number of flats.
The historic sub-division had resulted in an extremely poor use of space with redundant staircases, kitchens and bathrooms throughout.
Our clients sought to reconfigure the property back into a single dwelling for his growing family.
Our client had an eye for design and was keen to balance contemporary design whilst maintaining as much of the character of the original house.
Maximising natural light, space and establishing a visual and physical connection were also key drivers for the design. Owing to the size of the property, it became apparent that reconfiguration rather than extension provided the solution to meet the brief.
A metal clad ‘intervention’ was introduced to the rear facade. This created a strong horizontal element creating a visual balance with the vertical nature of the three storey gable.
The metal cladding specified echoed the colour of the red brick string courses tying old with new. Slender frame sliding doors provide access and views of the large garden.
The central circulation space was transformed by the introduction of a double height glazed slot wrapping up the rear facade and onto the roof. This allows daylight to permeate into the heart of the otherwise dark deep floor plan. The staircase was reconfigured into a series of landings looking down over the main void space below and out towards the tree canopies at the rear of the garden.
The introduction of double pocket doors throughout the ground floor creates a series of interconnected spaces and the whitewashed Larch flooring flows seamlessly from room to room. A bold palette of colours and materials lends character and texture throughout the property.
The end result is a spacious yet cosy environment for the family to inhabit for years to come.

This lakeside A-Frame cottage required creative space planning.
The lower level galley kitchen offers tons of hidden storage built under the stairs. Modern grey cabinetry and open shelving are accented by ample recessed and spot lights. The countertop and white subway tiles wrap around into the living area, creating multi-function seating. USB outlets allow homeowners and guest to charge their smart devices easily.
The floors look like a greyed rustic wood, but are actually luxury vinyl tiles...perfect for the in-and-out traffic from water related activities.

This single family home had been recently flipped with builder-grade materials. We touched each and every room of the house to give it a custom designer touch, thoughtfully marrying our soft minimalist design aesthetic with the graphic designer homeowner’s own design sensibilities. One of the most notable transformations in the home was opening up the galley kitchen to create an open concept great room with large skylight to give the illusion of a larger communal space.

Designed and fabricated the new walnut frame bed with Knoll fabric headboard. Fabricated all new built in millwork.

This mid-century masterpiece showcases simple, fuss-free design with modern elements and hints of retro-glam. The clean, simple lines and minimalist inspiration are a nod to the timelessness of the era and each room is bright with windows that all open to marry the outdoors and indoors. Natural light together with unique design elements achieve a relationship between privacy and transparency from the moment you walk into this home without sacrificing functionality. Organic and quirky details are the perfect finishing touches reflecting a sense of nostalgia and modern individuality that this home deserves.

Making the most of a wooded lot and interior courtyard, Braxton Werner and Paul Field of Wernerfield Architects transformed this former 1960s ranch house to an inviting yet unapologetically modern home. Outfitted with Western Window Systems products throughout, the home’s beautiful exterior views are framed with large expanses of glass that let in loads of natural light. Multi-slide doors in the bedroom and living areas connect the outdoors with the home’s family-friendly interiors.

San Francisco, CA - This modern style home was recently completed in Northern California. Beautiful clean lines run through the home's exterior with the beautiful wooden siding and large rectangular windows at the front. The custom-made garage doors were manufactured in a minimalistic design with flush panels and minimal lines. Finished in a dark bronze just like the window frames throughout the house pulled the entire home's curb appeal together into a majestic modern marvel. The modern garage doors were handmade out of eco-friendly composite materials that will prevent bowing or splitting in the future.
As you drive up to the residence one of the focal points of the home's exterior elevation are the garage doors with all their simplicity and smooth texture. The look of modern luxury never looked better with Dynamic Garage Doors.
