Every family bathroom is a shared space within a home that is used by multiple family members, including adults and children. We ensured that the design accommodated the needs of different age groups and promote convenience, safety, and functionality. The porcelain tile is a 600x1200 format. We have used the same colourway on wall and floor to ensure that the compact space feels light and bright and spacious.

Mosaic features, when used sparingly or as focal points, can become captivating design elements. The intricate patterns and meticulous arrangement of mosaic tiles showcase attention to detail and craftsmanship, elevating the bathroom's overall appearance. Working with the original features of a home is important. It is showing respect and appreciation to its history. The lead lights in the entrance door are a wonderful feature that had to be preserved. The hallway used to be dark and just using light grey paint this space feels completely transformed.

Renovating a home to sell can be a smart investment, however it is important to ensure that the finishes will appeal to most people. We went with a contrasting light and dark theme and added texture by introducing grooved panels to the feature walls. The exterior was refreshed by choosing colours that work well with the surroundings. The staircase became a feature on entry and really draws anyone inside. Kitchen and Bathrooms were kept neutral but were opened up to ensure that they feel light and bright and spacious. The carpet is soft and warms up the upstairs lounge and bedrooms as well as the large rumpus or second lounge space on the ground floor.

The bathroom was one of the biggest transformations of this renovation. There used to be a nib wall and boxing around the existing toilet. This was completely removed. The layout also changed. Vanity and toilet swapped locations. The toilet is now located by the window, allowing for a larger vanity with Mirror Cabinet. The client opted for feature tiles to the floor and to feature the shower and vanity walls by using gloss black subway tiles in a herringbone setting. We retained the existing batten walls to again give homage to the existing features of the building.

All the light fittings were chosen, as they create interesting shadows to ceiling and walls. They add a modern touch and a hint of industrialism with all of them being made of metal.

A lot of entertaining is done in this room as family and friends gather in an area close to where meals and appetizers are being prepared. It also is a place where the family may meet at the end of the day to talk about the day’s events. There is no doubt about the fact that these spaces are where memories are made and shared on a regular basis. The colour of the earth beneath your feet, a cup of coffee in the morning, a dollop of honey on toast and a bar of caramel chocolate. The tiles bring warmth and contentment to the space. MIDDLE EARTH TILES’ GOLDEN MANUKA Tile was laid with 33% offset. The tile was chosen as not only for the wonderful tone in colour, but because Middle Earth tiles are a “Cradle to Grave” product. The raw material are extracted close to the manufacturing site, they will last for many years, even centuries and the designs are timeless. Middle Earth tiles can be returned to the environment with no ill effects at the end of their life cycle. TILE SPACE TAILORART BROWN 600X600 CSA019 TO KITCHENETTE FLOOR & BATHROOM FLOOR was chosen to reflect a textured fabric, like a blanket used on the beach.

Splashes of colour are added by using coloured tiles randomly in amongst white tiles. The LED lit mirror allows for allround light to the face which makes make-up application easy. White cabinety with semi-gloss finish is offset by the textured white tiles. A shower niche provides product storage and the hinged glass shower door makes the space feel larger.

The laundry received wall hung cabinets and display shelves as well as a bench with sink cupboard and side by side washer and dryer. The timber overhead shelves and timber benchtop add a natural element and add warmth to the white cabinetry and white splashback tiles. A clean and light look with very functional storage.
