The renovation of this classic Muskoka cottage, focused around re-designing the living space to make the most of the incredible lake views. This update completely changed the flow of space, aligning the living areas with a more modern & luxurious living context.
In collaboration with the client, we envisioned a home in which clean lines, neutral tones, a variety of textures and patterns, and small yet luxurious details created a fresh, engaging space while seamlessly blending into the natural environment.
The main floor of this home was completely gutted to reveal the true beauty of the space. Main floor walls were re-engineered with custom windows to expand the client’s majestic view of the lake.
The dining area was highlighted with features including ceilings finished with Shadowline MDF, and enhanced with a custom coffered ceiling bringing dimension to the space.
Unobtrusive details and contrasting textures add richness and intrigue to the space, creating an energizing yet soothing interior with tactile depth.

Built in 1924, this apartment on lower Fifth Avenue was brought into the 21st century. The main focus of this ground up renovation was to create a direct link from the living room to the kitchen, creating a more open and airy plan. A closet was removed to connect the living room and kitchen while also allowing room for a large, extendable dining table.
In the kitchen, cabinets are custom made. Appliances are by Sub-Zero, Fisher-Paykel, and Bertazzoni. The faucet is by Dornbracht with a matte satin finish.

Built in 1896, the original site of the Baldwin Piano warehouse was transformed into several turn-of-the-century residential spaces in the heart of Downtown Denver. The building is the last remaining structure in Downtown Denver with a cast-iron facade. HouseHome was invited to take on a poorly designed loft and transform it into a luxury Airbnb rental. Since this building has such a dense history, it was our mission to bring the focus back onto the unique features, such as the original brick, large windows, and unique architecture.
Our client wanted the space to be transformed into a luxury, unique Airbnb for world travelers and tourists hoping to experience the history and art of the Denver scene. We went with a modern, clean-lined design with warm brick, moody black tones, and pops of green and white, all tied together with metal accents. The high-contrast black ceiling is the wow factor in this design, pushing the envelope to create a completely unique space. Other added elements in this loft are the modern, high-gloss kitchen cabinetry, the concrete tile backsplash, and the unique multi-use space in the Living Room. Truly a dream rental that perfectly encapsulates the trendy, historical personality of the Denver area.

This historic home renovation off Music Row in Nashville underwent a full gut and remodel, transforming it from a residential space into a high-end commercial property while preserving its architectural charm. The renovation included refurbished hardwood flooring, blending timeless appeal with durable hardwood flooring solutions that ensure long-lasting performance.
The kitchen remodel features state-of-the-art appliances, modern countertops, custom cabinetry design, and modern kitchen hardware, offering a sleek yet functional layout. The addition of new cabinets and storage solutions maximizes efficiency, making the space ideal for commercial use. Recessed lighting and chandeliers provide elegant illumination throughout, enhancing the interior’s refined aesthetic.
One of the standout features of this renovation is the three-story deck, designed with custom construction and deck building expertise. Built for both leisure and functionality, the custom deck seamlessly integrates an elevator, providing accessibility and convenience for guests and employees. The architectural planning ensured that the outdoor space remains both practical and visually striking.
As Nashville general contractors specializing in luxury renovations, commercial and residential remodeling, and design-build projects, we focus on custom millwork, eco-friendly renovations, and high-end homes. Whether modernizing historic homes or crafting custom construction solutions, our work reflects superior craftsmanship, innovative design, and a commitment to excellence.

Perhaps one of my favorite projects of the year, this historic home on Broadway in Saratoga Springs deserved the finest of kitchens. And that it always fun to design. The real challenge here was to capture an understated elegance worthy of the history of the home, the street, the town itself. This particular refinement meant having the sum of the parts be greater than the whole…meticulous focus on every detail to create something grand but livable, historically appropriate but adapted for today’s modern family, luxe but quietly graceful. Some of the details include a beautifully detailed wooden hood, a rolling ladder to access the double stacked upper cabinets which feature antiqued mirror inserts, a substantial, grounding quarter sawn oak island in a contrasting nut brown finish as well as historically appropriate hardware contrasted with modern fixtures and lighting.

Our clients, Erica + Luca, are a power couple each running their own businesses, and for the past six years have also been social parents raising two boys. Their home sits hillside, adjacent to a green space where they have beautiful views, but limited access to enjoy the outdoors. Introspecs created an interior space plan which opens the main level rooms to one another, to both increase visual sight lines + allow separate activities to take place simultaneously. Our goal was to maintain a family-focused house with a large in-kitchen eating island + tons of pantry storage while still honoring adult cocktail hour + entertaining friends. We translated their edgy Euro taste into the finishes which beautifully dresses up the functional layout + resonates with their lifestyle.

WHY CHOOSE US?
We have been in business since November 1998 and started in the window covering business by cleaning & repairing blinds. This gave us a unique perspective from most window covering dealers. We let our clients know the benefits of more expensive products and give honest feedback. We take pride in showing alternative products to fit all budgets. We also give our customers an additional 2 year warranty on top of the manufacturers guarantee!
Our great testimonials on Angie’s List, Houzz.com and referrals have helped our company grow without the need for “conventional” advertising. Abda means ‘servant’. Our number one focus is customer service and we believe in putting the customer’s needs first. We offer our clients an additional 2 year warranty on top of the manufacturer’s warranty and want each and every client to be completely happy with their purchase. We’ve been awarded the prestigious 2014 Angie’s List Super Service Award, an honor bestowed annually on approximately 5 percent of all the businesses rated on the nation’s leading provider of consumer reviews. We’ve grown over the years and have added more team members to our company and we’re very excited at the direction our company is going.

"Built in 1920 as a summer cottage-by-the-sea, this classic, north Laguna cottage long outlived its original owners. Now, refreshed and restored, the home echos with the soul of the early 20th century, while giving its surf-focused family the essence of 21st century modern living.
Timeless textures of cedar shingles and wood windows frame the modern interior, itself accented with steel, stone, and sunlight. The best of yesterday and the sensibility of today brought together thoughtfully in a good marriage."

A Porcelanosa sink and vanity with a long lit mirror is the focus of this bathroom. Alternating large format tile clad the walls. The shower has a bench and a soap niche. A large skylight over the shower provides natural light in this interior bathroom with no windows.

The kitchen is large, but has a compact work triangle. The large island adds considerable storage as well as prep space, and has a just-for-two breakfast bar at one end. The vent hood is coated in plaster, and the backsplash behind the cooktop is a panel of Turkish tiles brought back from the owners' time abroad. One of the window bays ('cumba') adds counter depth behnd the sink. Cabinets and surfaces are simple in style so the eye is focused on the owners' beautiful collections. There is direct access from the kitchen to the atrium. Way above the refrigerator is a ductless mini-split heating/cooling unit. Photo by V. Wooster

A bathroom shared by the entire family! There are some playful elements combined with a little sparkle and glamour. The main focus, however, was functionality and durability. Heated floors and a heated shower bench add comfort.

This striking modern kitchen by Performance Kitchens & Home achieves stunning visual impact through a clean, modern design defined by geometric clarity and a balanced, monochrome palette.
Crisp white perimeter cabinetry and subway tile backsplash amplify the sense of space and light, while a large central island grounds the design with a dramatic black countertop and complementary dark seating. This strategic interplay of light and shadow adds depth while maintaining an airy, cohesive feel. The open layout and sophisticated color scheme make this a timeless and elegant space, perfect for both focused cooking and high-end entertaining—a true reflection of our Gold Standard design approach.
