Magnolia Home was inspired by the utility of working industrial pieces for their 84 inch Industrial Framework Dining Table. Its top features a lift-off center that reveals a zinc planter bucket inside. Use it to hold drinks on ice, cut flowers or maybe even plant some herbs for handy use. - Zinc planter insert in top center under removable cover. - Wooden shelf in stretcher base. - Square tubular metal legs in black finish. - Sturdy H-shaped stretcher base. - Rustic Milk Crate finish.

We named this design the 'Insignia' as to reference the building in Seattle where the original table (and bench set) now reside. The concept for the 'Insignia' table was motivated by minimalist-modern design and inspiration that arose from an admiration for Nakashima-style trestle bases. With our traditional 'Mez Works' style, we used dimensional walnut with a steel stretcher through the center of the tabletop to trace our 'Zeeva' and ‘Martis’ series tables, and the steel is treated with a ‘black-magic patina’ and clear powder-coat finish for an industrial element. The leaf mechanisms are drop leaf supports that are solidly built, structurally stable and sturdy to eliminate sagging. They lock in place automatically when raised, and are simple and quick to release. This design is very versatile, and as shown in the photos the table can be purposed as use for a desk. While folded down, the drop leaf hides a charging outlet that is secured to the base directly under the tabletop, while power is integrated by feeding the cord through the base all the way out through the bottom to a fixed outlet in the floor. This antiqued Black Cherry finished dining table has carved and beveled edges, scrolled pedestal legs, block footing and scrolled decorative stretchers. This tan fabric and faux leather upholstered arm chair has beautiful nail head trim accents, a scalloped apron and decorative stretcher and it sits on carved cabriole legs. These handsome side chairs feature a serpentine shaped upholstered seat, a carved open splat back, sculptured arms, nail head trim, and carved cabriole legs with acanthus leaf details and a bun foot.

The 'Martis' table reflects aspects of some of our earlier works, combining features from our original 'Streetsense' style table with our 'Zeeva' solid steel frame. The result is a dimensional walnut table with simple trapezoid legs and exposed steel stretcher that runs the length of the table, easily able to be disassembled and broken down for moving/transport or storage. Clear-walnut was chosen for the tabletop to add warmth to the gray and blue tones in the home, while a ‘black magic patina’ + clear powder-coated steel frame adds an industrial element.
