With a complete gut and remodel, this home was taken from a dated, traditional style to a contemporary home with a lighter and fresher aesthetic. The interior space was organized to take better advantage of the sweeping views of Lake Michigan. Existing exterior elements were mixed with newer materials to create the unique design of the façade. The staircase, especially, where flowing, organic lines of polished steel and palisander create a glorious fusion that I think is a new modern classic, and a hallmark of this project.

With an existing pool and retaining walls, we took this space and made it more modern offering many various spaces for lounging, enjoying the fire, listening to the water feature and an upper synthetic turf area for playing games. It is complete with bluestone pavers, a modern water feature and reflecting pool, a raised ipe deck, synthetic turf, glass railings, a modern, gas fire bowl and a stunning cedar privacy wall!

Outdoor shower deck - mid-sized coastal outdoor shower deck idea in Baltimore

Casement windows open like a door, being hinged on one side. They swing out wide for maximum ventilation. The low profile, folding nesting handle tucks away for a clean sight line. They open easily by turning the handle, making them a great choice over a kitchen sink.

This glass block walk in shower took the place where an old (seldom-used) soaking tub used to be. It's nice not to have to clean a shower door anymore also!
