This project was a City Redevelopment Association (CRA) waterfront redevelopment site in the City of Riviera Beach, Florida. The engineering firm of Calvin Giordano had to develop a design that would meet South Florida Water Management Districts permitting requirements covering current and future water Quality and Quantity standards. Understanding that future development on this site would be creating more impervious surfaces as well as needing additional parking we were able to work with the engineer and design a permeable system that would achieve the desired results required for permitting from the District. The system was comprised of 18" of washed #4 limerock, 5" of #57 limerock, 2" of #89 and the wearing course was a 3-1/8" Eco-Holland paver manufactured by Coastal, an Oldcastle Company. The installation took place over several months by Precise Paving. The 18' wide lower promenade along the marina bulkhead consisted of 25,000 SF of 4"x 8"x 3-1/8" Holland Stone interlocking concrete paver laid by hand. The upper promenade was installed as a permeable system using 75,000 SF of 4"x 8"x 3-1/8" Eco-Holland Stone permeable paver that was also installed by hand due to the number of planter boxes, and patterns involved making a machine installation difficult. The perimeter road that encircles the new building is 30,000SF also installed as a permeable system using the same paver as the upper promenade. This area was mechanically installed by Precise Paving allowing the contractor to meet his deadlines and open the new facility on time. Extraordinary renovation of a master bathroom suite, transforming it into a modern and luxurious space. This project was a comprehensive overhaul, and we are proud to share the various aspects of the work we performed to bring our client's vision to life. Project Scope: 1. New Floor Plan: We collaborated closely with our client to design a new floor plan that maximizes space and improves functionality. The layout ensures a seamless flow, making the bathroom feel more open and inviting. 2. New Tile Flooring: We installed beautiful new tile flooring that not only enhances the aesthetics of the bathroom but also provides durability and easy maintenance. The chosen tiles add a sophisticated touch to the overall design. 3. New Vanity Installation: A sleek, modern vanity was installed, complete with ample storage and a stylish countertop. The clean lines of the vanity contribute to the contemporary look of the space. 4. New Lighting Fixtures: Updated lighting fixtures were added to brighten the space and create a warm, welcoming ambiance. The new lighting highlights the bathroom's features and adds to the modern feel. 5. New Plumbing Locations: We reconfigured the plumbing to accommodate a new toilet location and a state-of-the-art three-head shower system. Hand-Tiled Shower and Shower Niche: Our team meticulously hand-tiled the expansive shower, including a custom shower niche for added storage. New Exhaust Fan with Bluetooth Music Capability: To enhance the functionality and enjoyment of the space, we installed a new exhaust fan equipped with Bluetooth music capability. We love how elegant this shower system turned out. The high contrast between the dark and light tiles really makes a statement while the niche offers functional storage.

Faced with a “remuddled” kitchen from one decade, a haphazard bedroom / family room addition from another, and an otherwise disjointed and generally run-down mid-century modern house, the owners asked Klopf Architecture and Envision Landscape Studio to re-imagine this house and property as a unified, flowing, sophisticated, warm, modern indoor / outdoor living space for a family of five. Opening up the spaces internally and from inside to out was the first order of business. The formerly disjointed eat-in kitchen with 7 foot high ceilings were opened up to the living room, re-oriented, and replaced with a spacious cook's kitchen complete with a row of skylights bringing light into the space. Adjacent the living room wall was completely opened up with La Cantina folding door system, connecting the interior living space to a new wood deck that acts as a continuation of the wood floor. People can flow from kitchen to the living / dining room and the deck seamlessly, making the main entertainment space feel at once unified and complete, and at the same time open and limitless. Klopf opened up the bedroom with a large sliding panel, and turned what was once a large walk-in closet into an office area, again with a large sliding panel. The master bathroom has high windows all along one wall to bring in light, and a large wet room area for the shower and tub. The dark, solid roof structure over the patio was replaced with an open trellis that allows plenty of light, brightening the new deck area as well as the interior of the house. All the materials of the house were replaced, apart from the framing and the ceiling boards. This allowed Klopf to unify the materials from space to space, running the same wood flooring throughout, using the same paint colors, and generally creating a consistent look from room to room. Located in Lafayette, CA this remodeled single-family house is 3,363 square foot, 4 bedroom, and 3.5 bathroom.
