This light and bright bathroom was transformed from it's previously dated state. An awkward jacuzzi tub and a glass block wall were removed and 80s era tile was replaced with Carrara mosaic on the floor and Carrara stone in the shower. A large opaque window brings in light but allows privacy.

Complete master bath gut in Chicago home that included converting a tub to a walk in shower and relocation all the plumbing. Hexagon mosaic tile floors, gray subway and Carrara marble slabs freshen this tailored traditional space. Benches and hidden storage were added to utilize flow and maximize the storage options. A master bathroom in need of an update was modernized with a barn door, new vanity and modern natural tile selections. We were able to create a bathroom space which include warm colors( wood shelves, wall color, floor tile) and crisp clean finishes ( vanity, quartz, textural wall tile). There were 2 benches included for seating in and out of large shower enclosure.

Teak does not splinter which is nice to know if you use it for flooring but this is also very comforting to know when you use it as seating and dining furniture. It is heat tolerant in the way that it remains pleasant even when left in a hot environment – unlike metal, stone and plastic. Known to resist invasions of insects this resilient timber is also frequently used for outdoor flooring. Our teak furniture is constructed out of Grade-A timber, harvested from plantation grown teak forests which is managed by the government of Indonesia. Cushions are available separately.

Our iron and teak bench is hand crafted from solid teak and hand forged steel. The solid teak slats are finished with a UV protective stain and the iron has an anti-rust coating. This bench folds easily for convenient storage. It will make an elegant addition to your porch or patio area.
