Mind-blowing, man-made island Palm Jumeirah as if transferred from the pages of science fiction novels in the desert is considered one of the boldest engineering structures. And this new villa project is a laconic continuation of innovation of modern luxury. The main motive of this wonderful interior story is a wonderful cool oasis in the desert. In the interior by a nice range of cool colors is dominated. Interior Designers Dubai of Luxury Antonovich Design Studio masterfully used such a traditional material as glass. Balustrades of staircases and decorative panels with LED backlight are made of transparent glass. White marble supports the mood of wonderful pleasant coolness. In the Modern villa design some remodeling was provided. Interior designers have achieved amazing effect of infinite luxury space. Illumination plays no less important role in the project. The traditional crystal chandeliers are complemented by accents of LED backlighting and illuminated panels made of semiprecious stones. The variety of spectacular design techniques in the decoration of the walls became the basis of a unique and artistically expressive image of the interior.

This homeowner had inherited a small, bleak, builder grade master bathroom that was inexplicably chopped up into tiny pieces with various walls and doorways in between the fixtures. ​ Starting a new life after the loss of a loved one, she wanted to create a master bath refuge designed specifically for her. If a bathroom could represent light, joy, and peace, that is what she wanted. ​ We started by choosing a creamy yellow base color, accented with the sparkle of glass mosaic. All the extra walls came tumbling down, and we bumped out the exterior wall with a generously proportioned bay window and window seat. Next we reconfigured the fixtures, discarding a tired fiberglass bath/shower unit and replacing it with a full wall of glass across the back of the room, defining a spacious shower with a fold down teak bench. A simple and beautiful basin sink sits on a luxuriously sized vanity, while custom cabinetry goes up the wall and over the double entry doors. ​ Finally, the focal point of the entire room is the custom designed tile on the back wall of the shower. The owner wanted to feel as if she was in a rainforest under a beautiful tree. To execute this custom tile mural we worked closely with the tile setters, literally laying the entire wall of tiles out on the floor of the adjacent room for them to transfer to the actual wall. With a quiet backdrop of unassuming white subway tile, we reconfigured mosaic sheets to the forms we required, using specifically colored grout to bring each element to life. ​ The result is a fully functional personal, peaceful, sunny retreat. ​

The wall removals required supporting the loads from the second floor and meeting the engineering requirements for shear wall and lateral support. These beams and their connections to the posts they sit on were a challenge to install because of the complex nature of the home's original framed. All these loads had to be carried through the finished basement below and rest on new footings below the basement floor. The center kitchen island was expansive, with a single slab countertop that would provide both workspace and counter seating. This slab, at 64x120 and 789 lbs., required careful planning for on-site labor, transfer routing, and precision installation. Natural daylight now floods the space from all directions. Recessed can lighting runs throughout the space, all on dimmers for maximum control of ambiance. The Better Builders design team guided the selection of hardwoods, staircase details, cabinetry, countertops, tile, and color. The muted palette and clean lines work well with our couple’s eclectic furnishings and artworks. Now, traffic and activities flow better, and every inch of the previously divided space is utilized and enjoyed. The outcome is exactly as our homeowners envisioned…and as we intended.

Inspiration for a large timeless green two-story wood gable roof remodel in Milwaukee

We remodeled this unassuming mid-century home from top to bottom. An entire third floor and two outdoor decks were added. As a bonus, we made the whole thing accessible with an elevator linking all three floors. The 3rd floor was designed to be built entirely above the existing roof level to preserve the vaulted ceilings in the main level living areas. Floor joists spanned the full width of the house to transfer new loads onto the existing foundation as much as possible. This minimized structural work required inside the existing footprint of the home. A portion of the new roof extends over the custom outdoor kitchen and deck on the north end, allowing year-round use of this space. Exterior finishes feature a combination of smooth painted horizontal panels, and pre-finished fiber-cement siding, that replicate a natural stained wood. Exposed beams and cedar soffits provide wooden accents around the exterior. Horizontal cable railings were used around the rooftop decks. Natural stone installed around the front entry enhances the porch. Metal roofing in natural forest green, tie the whole project together. On the main floor, the kitchen remodel included minimal footprint changes, but overhauling of the cabinets and function. A larger window brings in natural light, capturing views of the garden and new porch. The sleek kitchen now shines with two-toned cabinetry in stained maple and high-gloss white, white quartz countertops with hints of gold and purple, and a raised bubble-glass chiseled edge cocktail bar. The kitchen’s eye-catching mixed-metal backsplash is a fun update on a traditional penny tile. The dining room was revamped with new built-in lighted cabinetry, luxury vinyl flooring, and a contemporary-style chandelier. Throughout the main floor, the original hardwood flooring was refinished with dark stain, and the fireplace revamped in gray and with a copper-tile hearth and new insert. During demolition our team uncovered a hidden ceiling beam. The clients loved the look, so to meet the planned budget, the beam was turned into an architectural feature, wrapping it in wood paneling matching the entry hall. The entire day-light basement was also remodeled, and now includes a bright & colorful exercise studio and a larger laundry room. The redesign of the washroom includes a larger showering area built specifically for washing their large dog, as well as added storage and countertop space.
