The Endeavor is our best-selling wood stove since 1984 because it combines form and function with an unbeatable heat transfer system. This wood burning stove is ideal for heating medium to large sized homes and living spaces. It features one of the cleanest burning fireboxes of any mid-sized wood stove at only 1.9 grams of emissions per hour! The firebox can also hold logs up to 18" in length and provides longer burn times.
The Endeavor offers the closest clearance of any wood stove in the industry - as close as 4-1/4" to a rear combustible surface. In addition, a bypass damper makes startups easy and prevents smoke-backs during reloading.
The Endeavor comes available with GreenStart, our patent-pending ignition system for the modern wood burner; just load your wood and push a button! We've completely eliminated slow, cracked open door startups and laboring over fickle newspaper.

As Brooklyn continues to reach upward, its newest denizens demand an aesthetic which marries the past with the present. For the latest buildings, rooftop spaces are not an after-thought but are carefully engineered and planned early in the design phase, often long before there is a semblance of a space to survey.
The primary challenge with common spaces for residential buildings is to provide some level of individual privacy while developing an overall spatial design which will also foster social interaction between users. In order to achieve this balance, smaller conversational spaces which are defined through the rigid face of the wood-clad planters and accented by hearty plantings and provide a diverse mix of seating types from long benches attached to the face of the planters to moveable chairs and tables allowing for maximum flexibility. The smaller conversational spaces take advantage of the views from the outside edges of the roof while the larger common spaces are defined by plant-softened wood fences.
The materials of the space borrow from the buildings context, reclaiming many of the materials which permeated Brooklyn’s industrial heritage. Concrete, steel, aluminum and various fabrics are some of the elements which help to unite the past with the present. Transferring the feel of the sidewalk planting bed to the rooftop is achieved through the raw steel-edged green-roof garden areas which help define the spaces.

This guest bathroom shower features several products from Kohler. The highlight is the Levity shower door in clear glass & brushed nickel finish. It also features a pressure balancing valve, transfer valve, and volume control from the Margaux collection. 3 outputs were used: rain head, fixed hoead, and a Shift handheld shower on a slide bar. A White subway tile from Canco's Whisper collection gives the space a timeless feel that is easy to clean. We used a two tiered niche for storage. The mosaic deco tile is featured in both a horizontal strip and the back wall of the niche. The Salient cast iron receptor in 60x36 with a center drain was used for a low maintenance solution for the shower floor. A pale lavender pain color provides a subtle elegance and brightness to the room.

A patio cover is basically a huge roof. At one end, we can usually tie it into the home’s existing roof. But at the other end, and along the sides, we use posts to support the patio cover. Posts are supported by footings. When we complete our work, you won’t see the footings, but they are critically important because they transfer the structural load into the ground.

The new shower was installed where the old tub used to be! We installed a new Atrium 3000 Series vinyl replacement window with obscure glass. The shower has the thermostatic valve, 6 position transfer valve, four body sprays, and separate hand-held shower, bench seat, and recess for shower products. We installed an LED light/fan above the shower. The shower wall tile is Anatolia Mayfair Statuario Venato polished 10.5" X 32" tile laid in a 1/3 - 2/3 pattern with Anatolia Mayfair Statuario Argento 2" x 2" basketweave mosaic on the floor and back of the recess/niche! We used Bostik true color urethane grout in the shower!

This 2,500 sq. ft. commercial facility was meticulously designed to accommodate up to seven writers’ rooms and production suites—each capable of operating simultaneously without interruption, with four of the rooms built for mixing capabilities. With seamless audio integration throughout, the space ensures intuitive connectivity no matter where you are on the property.
The aesthetic palette, paired with a loud and quirky speakeasy vibe, creates a fun atmosphere that reflects the owners’ personalities. The result is not just a studio that feels effortless—it’s an inspiring environment where writing, mixing, and production can happen with minimal sound transmission.
Behind the walls, the architectural acoustics are second to none. The design emphasizes a true “plug-and-play” workflow: each control room, both isolation booths, and all common areas are acoustically isolated with extraordinary attention to detail. Each suite is equipped with dedicated, silent 1:1 HVAC systems. Eight independent floating-floor systems support the suites, while tailored sound-reducing wall assemblies and intentional treatments in the main suites deliver clarity and precision for mixing. Full-lite doors, combined with the fact that no suite is mechanically bonded, allow all rooms to operate simultaneously with minimal sound transfer.

Transfer from Chicago to San Francisco. We did his home in Chicago. Which incidentally appeared on the cover of Chicago Home Interiors. The client is a google executive transplanted. The home is roughly 1500 sq. ft and sits right in the middle of the Castro District. Art deco and arts and craft detailing. The client opted to go with color, and they drove the color scheme. The living room was awkward with only one plain wall. It needed to accommodate entertaining, audio and video use, and be a workspace. Additionally, the client wanted the room to transition easily weather it was just him and his partner or many guests. We opted to do central furniture arrangements. Therefore, we took advantage of the fireplace, large window focal point and added a media wall as a third focal point. Dining is a large square table with two large buffets. The unique feature is a ceiling mural. The color scheme is moody browns greens and purples.
