Alison & Eric have been my clients for almost 5 years. We began working together , shortly after they purchased their home. About a year later, when Alison was pregnant with their first child they reached out to me to design the nursery & transform the garage into an office/ lounge. Later we did a total makeover in their living room, and recently I completed the nursery for their newest addition the the family. For me, as a designer with a great passion for the home, I absolutely love to be able to build long term relationships with the people I work with. The dramatic transformation is enhanced by a raised corten steel planter at the pathway entrance with gravel and succulents. Two horizontal ipe wood structures provide contemporary accents. New raised concrete planters alongside the new concrete driveway define the property and showcase more colorful succulents. A beautiful gray house paint color and ipe accents complete the remodel. The brief was to transform the apartment into a home that was suited to our client’s (a young married couple) needs of entertainment and desire for an open plan. By reimagining the spatial hierarchy of a typical Singaporean home, the existing living room was converted nto a guest room, 2 bedrooms were also transformed into a single living space centered in the heart of the apartment. White frameless doors were used in the master and guest bedrooms, extending and brightening the hallway when left open. Accents of graphic and color were also used against a pared down material palette to form the backdrop for the owners’ collection of objects and artwork that was a reflection of the young couple’s vibrant personalities. Challenge: Home’s second level had an awkward layout along with a tiny, drab master bath and oversized, outdated hall bathroom. Transformation: By changing the entire floor plan of the second floor, we created a wide hallway that leads to a spacious master suite, three bedrooms and a cheery full bathroom.

LOFT | Luxury Loft Transformation | FOUR POINT DESIGN BUILD INC This ultra feminine luxury loft was designed for an up-and-coming fashion/travel writer. With 30' soaring ceiling heights, five levels, winding paths of travel and tight stairways, no storage at all, very little usable wall space, a tight timeline, and a very modest budget, we had our work cut out for us.
