This staircase makes a bold design statement through restraint and precision. Thick squared-off white oak treads appear to float between dramatic, black-painted stringers, while horizontal 1/2" round bars create an open, minimal balustrade. The uniform open risers allow natural light to cascade down to the basement level, transforming the stairwell into a light-transmitting vertical shaft.
The design thoughtfully responds to the surrounding spaces, connecting levels without interrupting sightlines or blocking light flow. The result is a staircase that feels almost sculptural in its simplicity, proving that sometimes less truly is more.

In our busy lives, creating a peaceful and rejuvenating home environment is essential to a healthy lifestyle. Built less than five years ago, this Stinson Beach Modern home is your own private oasis. Surrounded by a butterfly preserve and unparalleled ocean views, the home will lead you to a sense of connection with nature. As you enter an open living room space that encompasses a kitchen, dining area, and living room, the inspiring contemporary interior invokes a sense of relaxation, that stimulates the senses. The open floor plan and modern finishes create a soothing, tranquil, and uplifting atmosphere. The house is approximately 2900 square feet, has three (to possibly five) bedrooms, four bathrooms, an outdoor shower and spa, a full office, and a media room. Its two levels blend into the hillside, creating privacy and quiet spaces within an open floor plan and feature spectacular views from every room. The expansive home, decks and patios presents the most beautiful sunsets as well as the most private and panoramic setting in all of Stinson Beach. One of the home's noteworthy design features is a peaked roof that uses Kalwall's translucent day-lighting system, the most highly insulating, diffuse light-transmitting, structural panel technology. This protected area on the hill provides a dramatic roar from the ocean waves but without any of the threats of oceanfront living. Built on one of the last remaining one-acre coastline lots on the west side of the hill at Stinson Beach, the design of the residence is site friendly, using materials and finishes that meld into the hillside. The landscaping features low-maintenance succulents and butterfly friendly plantings appropriate for the adjacent Monarch Butterfly Preserve. Recalibrate your dreams in this natural environment, and make the choice to live in complete privacy on this one acre retreat. This home includes Miele appliances, Thermadore refrigerator and freezer, an entire home water filtration system, kitchen and bathroom cabinetry by SieMatic, Ceasarstone kitchen counter tops, hardwood and Italian ceramic radiant tile floors using Warmboard technology, Electric blinds, Dornbracht faucets, Kalwall skylights throughout livingroom and garage, Jeldwen windows and sliding doors. Located 5-8 minute walk to the ocean, downtown Stinson and the community center. It is less than a five minute walk away from the trail heads such as Steep Ravine and Willow Camp.

This urban contemporary setting will bring out the designer in you along with endless nights of entertainment. The Cantrall corner sofa exhibits with generous seating the wonders of functionality and modern furniture. Unique combination of performance fabric with gimp trimming accents and a chrome base add a counterpoint to its taupe tone. Follow this dazzling look with the Old Hollywood Sealight, a stainless steel reproduction of a 19th-century British marine light used to transmit Morse code, finished in polished chrome.

An original Ziegler Garage door design that has been one of our best selling and most talked about designs. The clean lines and square edges really shows the modern contemporary look and the stainless steel accent makes this door pop. This is what we call the modern 007, not only is this one of our best selling designs, it is also one of the most economical real wood doors in our product line. In order to accomplish this contemporary look we used a marine grade ply with a thick mahogany veneer for the wood base and then cut and folded stainless steel strips and embedded them into the face leaving this smooth seamless finish to this modern contemporary door and gate. Selecting a dark color stain for the wooden garage door made a fantastic contrast against the home's light white stucco and brick walls while pulling in some of the low slung roof tonalities.
We are the oldest original wood door manufacture in California dating back to its origination by Ziegler Sr. in 1968 we have always built our doors by paying special attention to the existing home's style and architectural elements. Creating a world-class garage door and gate combination that takes the natural modern architectural design of this home and embracing that same modern charm into our spectacularly built garage doors and pedestrian gates. Ziegler always delivers the best! 714-437-0870

Master Bath: A new contemporary master bath suite was created for a client who desired a calm retreat for meditation and self-care. A palette of materials was chosen to reflect a modern aesthetic with warm sophistication. Pops of color and texture were achieved with Robern glass front cabinets, Caesarstone countertop and backsplash, and glass mosaic tile highlights. A soft, natural backdrop was provided by handmade and artisan glazed Waterworks field tile on the walls and a larger format textured porcelain floor tile. A frosted privacy panel allows light to transmit through the space while concealing a separate toilet enclosure. Robern medicine cabinets with integral light features provide ample organized storage as well as abundant illumination. Waterworks crystal handle faucets provide an additional touch of elegance.

During the mid-eighteenth century, the Georgian style became immensely popular, not only in England, but also in Colonial America. The "Colonial" home was influenced by the Georgian style, characterized by a sense of proportion, balance, and carefully thought out details. Furniture and objects of the time were of a larger scale, yet with a lighter feeling than earlier periods. This lighter feeling transmitted grace, elegance, and prominence, and allowed details to become more of the focal point, rather than the principle elements of the structure. The Georgian Court Collection reflects those earlier influences with a well-balanced proportions, attractive brass finished details, and amber glass with a marbleized finish and decorative ring. Designed by Charles Kelton.

- Height 15"
- Depth 8"
