Inspiration for a mid-sized timeless beige tile and ceramic tile ceramic tile bathroom remodel in DC Metro with an integrated sink, recessed-panel cabinets, medium tone wood cabinets, quartz countertops, a two-piece toilet and white walls

The bathroom was redesigned to improve flow and add functional storage with a modern aesthetic.
Natural walnut cabinetry brings warmth balanced by the subtle movement in the warm gray floor and wall tiles and the white quartz counters and shower surround. We created half walls framing the shower topped with quartz and glass treated for easy maintenance. The angled wall and extra square footage in the water closet were eliminated for a larger vanity.
Floating vanities make the space feel larger and fit the modern aesthetic. The tall pullout storage at her vanity is one-sided to prevent items falling out the back and features shelves with acrylic sides for full product visibility.
We removed the tub deck and bump-out walls with inset shelves for improved flow and wall space for towels.
Now the freestanding tub anchors the middle of the room while allowing easy access to the windows that were blocked by the previous built-in.

Our homeowner approached us first in order to remodel her master suite. Her shower was leaking and she wanted to turn 2 separate closets into one enviable walk in closet. This homeowners projects have been completed in multiple phases. The second phase was focused on the kitchen, laundry room and converting the dining room to an office. We feel fortunate that she has such great taste and furnished her home so well!
Bedroom: The art on the wall is a piece that the homeowner brought back from a trip to France. The room feels luxe and romantic.
Walk in Closet: The walk in closet features built in cabinetry including glass doored cabinets. It offer shoe storage, purse storage and even linens. The walk in closet has recessed lighting.
Master Bathroom: The master bathroom offers a make-up desk and plenty of lights and mirrors! Utilizing both pendant and recessed lighting, the bathroom feels bright and white even though it is a combination of white and beige. The white shaker cabinets are contrasted by a dark granite countertop. Favoring a large shower over a tub we were able to include a large niche for storage. The tile and floor are both limestone.

Vanity stools and benches are the perfect way to include seating into rooms. A vanity char is very popular to couple with a bedroom vanity, as a place to sit during one’s beauty routine. A new vanity bench or stool may be just what you need to make every day feel like a trip to the beauty salon. In addition to vanity stools, you should also look at our Shower Benches Seats. A shower stool seat is one of the most comfortable things you can imaging in your bathroom.

A "Happy Home" was our goal when designing this vacation home in Key Largo for a Delaware family. Lots of whites and blues accentuated by other primary colors such as orange and yellow.

This traditional master bath was completely renovated to update the clients' bath after hurricane damage. A large jetted tub was removed in order to gain a large, 2 person shower with seat. Storage was one item that was at the top of the list. Generous storage was added with the wall cabinets flanking each side of the sink vanity. A new stand up style dressing/makeup vanity area was added to the far end of the sink vanity. This gave the client plenty of room for makeup and toiletry storage. Studio K B worked with this client via Skype/Facetime, phone calls, emails and one trip to the job site. Jill Douglas Photography

From skiing in the Swiss Alps to water sports in Key Biscayne, a relocation for a Chilean couple with three small children was a sea change. “They’re probably the most opposite places in the world,” says the husband about moving
from Switzerland to Miami. The couple fell in love with a tropical modern house in Key Biscayne with architecture by Marta Zubillaga and Juan Jose Zubillaga of Zubillaga Design. The white-stucco home with horizontal planks of red cedar had them at hello due to the open interiors kept bright and airy with limestone and marble plus an abundance of windows. “The light,” the husband says, “is something we loved.”
While in Miami on an overseas trip, the wife met with designer Maite Granda, whose style she had seen and liked online. For their interview, the homeowner brought along a photo book she created that essentially offered a roadmap to their family with profiles, likes, sports, and hobbies to navigate through the design. They immediately clicked, and Granda’s passion for designing children’s rooms was a value-added perk that the mother of three appreciated. “She painted a picture for me of each of the kids,” recalls Granda. “She said, ‘My boy is very creative—always building; he loves Legos. My oldest girl is very artistic— always dressing up in costumes, and she likes to sing. And the little one—we’re still discovering her personality.’”

Inspiration for a rustic white two-story stone gable roof remodel in Philadelphia

This gorgeous white kitchen is made from Wood-Mode. It features white cabinets, a dark-wooden vent hood and and island that has a dark-wooden countertop to accent the white cabinetry. As you can see, the large window sheds plenty of light to brighten up the room, but for the times there isn't light there are wall lights.
