The homeowners desired a more usable layout with timeless appeal in keeping with their historic home. New vanity cabinets with smart storage replaced pedestal sinks. The custom built-in medicine cabinets provide additional spots for bathroom necessities. Classic finishes, black and white hex tile floors, and a soothing green keep the space looking fresh while tying it into the historic roots of the home.

Deck - rustic deck idea in Seattle

This renovation project of a 1920s home included a kitchen, bar/mudroom, laundry room, guest bathroom and primary bathroom. This home, located in the Virginia Highland neighborhood of Atlanta, had an unusual layout and a good bit of unused space. The two main goals were to bring the outdated spaces to suit modern living standards, and to better utilize the space.

This large bathroom remodel feature a clawfoot soaking tub, a large glass enclosed walk in shower, a private water closet, large floor to ceiling linen closet and a custom reclaimed wood vanity made by Limitless Woodworking. Light fixtures and door hardware were provided by Houzz. This modern bohemian bathroom also showcases a cement tile flooring, a feature wall and simple decor to tie everything together.

The best of past and present architectural styles combine in this welcoming, farmhouse-inspired design. Upstairs, an additional 900 square feet includes two 11 by 14-foot upper bedrooms with bath and closet and a an approximately 700 square foot guest suite over the garage that includes a relaxing sitting area, galley kitchen and bath, perfect for guests or in-laws.
