Edgewater Design GroupOur clients had a very clear vision for what they wanted in a new home and hired our team to help them bring that dream to life. Their goal was to create a contemporary oasis. The main level consists of a courtyard, spa, master suite, kitchen, dining room, living areas, wet bar, large mudroom with ample coat storage, a small outdoor pool off the spa as well as a focal point entry and views of the lake. The second level has four bedrooms, two of which are suites, a third bathroom, a library/common area, outdoor deck and views of the lake, indoor courtyard and live roof. The home also boasts a lower level complete with a movie theater, bathroom, ping-pong/pool area, and home gym. The interior and exterior of the home utilizes clean lines and warm materials. It was such a rewarding experience to help our clients to truly build their dream.

A third garage door in the rear allows for easy accessibility to their riding lawn mower and snow blower. Laura Lee HomeThe walkout basement of this home became kid central. A tv and toy room is filled with bookcases for toys and books. We developed a system. to store two-thirds of the toys and rotate them to keep the space from becoming too cluttered. Two young boys and their toddler sister share this playroom, so we devised a gender neutral patriotic color palette. Not pictured is the lego area with special shelves to display the oldest son's creations safe from little ones. Two loveseats are upholstered in outdoor fabric for easy clean up and the graphic rug is actually carpet tiles that can be hosed off when they are soiled.

OLSON LEWIS + ArchitectsOL + expanded this North Shore waterfront bungalow to include a new library, two sleeping porches, a third floor billiard and game room, and added a conservatory. The design is influenced by the Arts and Crafts style of the existing house. A two-story gatehouse with similar architectural details, was designed to include a garage and second floor loft-style living quarters. The late landscape architect, Dale Wagner, developed the site to create picturesque views throughout the property as well as from every room.

As young highly-educated families move into the area, we are remodeling and adding on to the aging homes found there. This project remodeled the entire existing two story house and added a third level, capturing the incredible views toward downtown. The design features integral color stucco, zinc roofing, an International Orange staircase, eco-teak cabinets and concrete counters. A flowing sequence of spaces were choreographed from the entry through to the family room.
