Inspiration for an eclectic bedroom remodel in Cincinnati

Who wouldn't fall in love with the Water Street building, and the elegant industrial vibe? The light that floods in through the floor-to-ceiling windows makes this a perfect spot to entertain and host friends from California or adult kids who visit. The location can't be beat--these clients ride their bikes to meet friends for lunch or a tour through the Hirschhorn. We knocked down a wall to open the kitchen, and added modern furnishings punctuated by splashes of deep orangey-red. High contrast and lots of rich textures can be found throughout this urban loft.

This baby boomer couple recently settled in the Haymarket area.
Their bathroom was located behind the garage from which we took a few inches to contribute to the bathroom space, offering them a large walk in shower, with
Digital controls designed for multiple shower heads . With a new waterfall free standing tub/ faucet slipper tub taking the space of the old large decked tub. We used a Victoria & Albert modern free standing tub, which brought spa feel to the room. The old space from the closet was used to create enough space for the bench area. It has a modern look linear drain in wet room. Adding a decorative touch and more lighting, is a beautiful chandelier outside of the wet room.
Behind the new commode area is a niche.
New vanities, sleek, yet spacious, allowing for more storage.
The large mirror and hidden medicine cabinets with decorative lighting added more of the contemporariness to the space.
Around this bath, we used large space tile. With a Classic look of black and white tile that complement the mosaic tile used creatively, making this bathroom undeniably stunning.
The smart use of mosaic tile on the back wall of the shower and tub area has put this project on the cover sheet of most design magazine.
The privacy wall offers closure for the commode from the front entry. Classy yet simple is how they described their new master bath suite.

This classic 1930 Tudor located in historic Sunset Park had a 1950s kitchen that certainly showed its age. It was lacking in storage space, countertop work space and had dated appliances. The owner requested that the new kitchen pick up on the characteristics of the homes original cabinets that were found in an adjoining pantry, while simultaneously providing the amenities associated with new kitchen appliances. The existing walls that divided the kitchen into three small spaces were removed and structural beams that replaced them concealed in the ceiling. The cabinets perfectly match those found in the pantry while a 6-burner professional cooktop provides the cooking power that allows the home owner to execute her culinary skills. A twin drawer stainless dishwasher provides convenience that allows the homeowner to efficiently wash dishes independent of whether there is a large or small crowd. New hardwood floors replaced the pine boards that were hidden under the existing sheet vinyl flooring, they were toothed into and refinished with the adjoining floor spaces.

Luxury, redefined—without losing history. ✨
In this 1800s home, a once-dated bathroom has been transformed into a refined sanctuary that honors the past while embracing elevated design. Impeccable tile work, intentional detailing, and a stunning finish come together to create a space that feels timeless, rich, and undeniably luxurious.
