This 500 gallon indoor Koi pond is located in the middle of a private conservatory in Wellesley, MA. It features custom glass tile and stonework in the pond enclosure with a restored antique fountain in the center and underwater lighting for nighttime viewing. The filtration system is located in the basement below the pond.

From the kitchen, one peeks through beautifully detailed millwork framing the entrance to a two story family room wood beamed ceiling, soaring fieldstone fireplace and magnificent chandelier. French doors lead to the rear patio. Pocket doors smartly conceal the playroom and sunroom, which serve as a direct access way to the pool area and the beautiful wraparound veranda. The gunite pool has a built in spa and underwater sundeck, as well as custom “stadium” seating. The pool and granite pool patio area (granite stays cooler than bluestone) are highlighted by the pool house with full bath and changing facilities and entertaining bar area. An additional secondary front entrance to the home features a mudroom with command center, cubbies for coats and boots, a black slate floor with radiant heating, access to the oversized three car garage and a back staircase with extra storage underneath accessed by a “hidden door”. The second floor features the master bedroom suite with tower siting room, fireplace, built-ins and custom dressing rooms.

Request Free Quote This outdoor living space in Barrington Hills, IL has it all. The swimming pool measures 1,520 square feet, and is 3'6" to 10'0" deep. The hot tub measures 7'0" x 13'0" and is equipped with 16 hydrotherapy heads. Both pool and spa have colored LED lights. The spa has an automatic cover with stone lid system. Adjacent to the hot tub is a sunken bar with kitchen and grill, covered with a thatch palapa. The sunken bar doubles as a serving area for the 5 underwater bar stools within the pool. There is a sunshelf in the shallow area of the pool measuring 125 square feet that has 5 LED lit bubbler water features. There are two sets of shallow end steps attached to the sunshelf. The custom slide is constructed on a stacked stone structure which provides a large stone step system for entry. The pool and hot tub coping is Valders Wisconsin Limestone in Buff color, Sandblast finish with a modified squared edge. The pool has an in-floor automatic cleaning system. The interior surface is French Gray exposed aggregate finish. The pool is also equipped with Volleyball and Basketball systems.

Water feature: Simple fountain with New York Bluestone caps; underwater lighting. A charming little water feature, lit from below, gurgles quietly by the back window. Pergola & Arbor: Fiberglass columns, Cedar timbers, and wood beam rafters.

As avid boaters, the homeowners wanted a sophisticated nautical feel, so the defining feature in this bathroom is a custom architectural cast glass shower enclosure with an underwater scene, including turtles, fish, seaweed, coral and an octopus. A soothing blue color for the walls, “Oyster Desert Gold” slate tile for the floors and shower and natural wood for cabinets were selected to accent the organic feel of this space.

Scott Simpson Large scale project began with the natural stone English style garden on the island with a water fountain as a central feature. The backyard was terraced to provide a more even surface for weekend sports with the children. The terracing was framed near the house with a 3 foot deep channel that will hold koi. On one side is a fire pit with amphitheater style seating and the other side opens up for the koi. There is an edible garden and butterfly garden as well. The entrance is punctuated with a large 10 foot diameter fountain. The entire landscape is on automated lighting with underwater lighting as well.

A more contemporary pool design with 3 underwater stools, sheer decent from pergola, pergola over kitchen area, 2 bubblers. Though the pool is not centered to the backyard, it is still a functional part that will get a lot of action.

This suburban Toronto family had a small backyard which they outfitted for recreation and entertaining. The focal point is a symmetrical cloverleaf plunge pool which has a uniform depth of six feet. There are entry steps with underwater benches on each side with a spillover spa at one end and a Badu swimjet at the other. (16 x 16 custom rectangular)
