Inspiration for a craftsman pool remodel in San Francisco

The modern home makes a striking statement with its Miami South Beach look highlighted by a palette of whites and greys pleasingly expressed in rectangular and square elements. The minimal lines of the structure’s concrete, glass and architectural wall panels testify that sometimes ‘less is more.’

Texas swimming pool designer Mike Farley takes you to the design of a Colleyville residential Lazy River project that has already won multiple awards and was featured on HGTV "Cool Pools". This pool has it all - outdoor kitchen, multiple waterfalls, rain falls, bridges, an elevated spa on an island surrounded by the river, basketball, luxury cave, underwater speakers, and they converted a stall of the garage to make a bathroom with a dry sauna & walkin dual shower. This Pond Project included removal of an existing small preformed pond located next to the back porch and deck area. We then installed a new properly filtered ecosystem pond with the waterfalls falling towards the large windows and patio area. The project also included installation of underwater LED lighting in the pond and stream for night time enjoyment as well as a bacteria dosing system which will aide in keeping the pond clear during the season. This Pond project was installed in Lancaster, PA.

The perimeter overflow spa features black porcelain tile to match the waterline tile of the pool. When the spa is not in use it displays a mirror like surface as water recirculates back into the pool. The pool features a durable, non-slip and stain-resistant Pebble Tec exposed aggregate interior in Moonlight Grey.

The exquisite 12’ x 20’ pool was built into a 4’-high concrete retaining wall which supports the deck. Being built to that height both enhances the view and eliminates the need for pool fencing. Glass railings are attached to the outside of the wall to maximize usable deck space and hide the attachment hardware from view.
