An over-the-air (OTA) HDTV antenna. A HD television antenna was mounted (and grounded) in the second-floor attic to eliminate the unsightliness of exterior mounting. Free HDTV signals are received with crystal clarity. Also visible in the upper right of the photo is new phone, network, and video cable run as part of the structuring wiring project, connecting the structured wiring panel to a set of second floor wall jacks, carefully tacked to a roof truss to keep it off of the lower joists and eliminate the trip hazard. Pool - large contemporary backyard concrete and rectangular lap pool idea

While respecting the history and architecture of the house, we created an updated version of the home’s original personality with contemporary finishes that still feel appropriate, while also incorporating some of the original furniture passed down in the family. Two decades and two teenage sons later, the family needed their home to be more user friendly and to better suit how they live now. We used a lot of unique and upscale finishes that would contrast each other and add panache to the space.

This theatre and concession area has it all! Custom finishes of a 'ticket wicket' booth, concession cabinet with extra storage for even more candy, pull out cabinet sliders for ease of access on either side of the candy shelves, popcorn machine and video games! The door to the theatre is faux leather that is tufted with nailheads. Inside the theatre, the look is more glamourous and accented with reds and plums. Gold crown molding adds to the luxe feel while the damask fabric on the cushions and acoustic panels offer a nod to classic design. Cable raceway was mounted above basement-level baseboard when it was determined that the finished walls and ceiling were not accessible and the homeowner preferred that walls not be opened. This unique city-home is designed with a center entry, flanked by formal living and dining rooms on either side. An expansive gourmet kitchen / great room spans the rear of the main floor, opening onto a terraced outdoor space comprised of more than 700SF.
