This project is a whole home remodel that is being completed in 2 phases. The first phase included this bathroom remodel. The whole home will maintain the Mid Century styling. The cabinets are stained in Alder Wood. The countertop is Ceasarstone in Pure White. The shower features Kohler Purist Fixtures in Vibrant Modern Brushed Gold finish. The flooring is Large Hexagon Tile from Dal Tile. The decorative tile is Wayfair “Illica” ceramic. The lighting is Mid-Century pendent lights. The master bathroom was expanded into a bright modern space complete with a custom double vanity. Concrete-like quartz continues up the backsplash and complements the brass finishes.

This remodel went from a tiny story-and-a-half Cape Cod, to a charming full two-story home. A second full bath on the upper level with a double vanity provides a perfect place for two growing children to get ready in the morning. The walls are painted in Silvery Moon 1604 by Benjamin Moore. The challenge for this project was that, while the homeowner desired all of the luxury amenities of a deluxe master bath, space was extremely limited. Therefore efficient space planning was critical in achieving the final design. Use of custom painted cabinetry and carrara marble countertops were the basis for this compact yet luxurious bathroom design. Careful attention was given to the tone of the finishes in order to keep this eastern-exposure bathroom light and bright. White trim and crown moulding was used in contrast to the putty colored walls. In keeping with the era of the home, a hand-glazed white ceramic subway tile was used in the soaking tub alcove. Nickel plated bath, lavatory, tub and shower fixtures in the vintage style were used alongside modern amenities such as recessed halogen lighting, electric towel warmers and radiant-heated tile flooring.

The principal Bathroom is a clean, modern space where everything has its place. The double sinks are a single, integrated top that sits upon a custom designed vanity that floats above the heated tile floor. Tall storage cabinets sit on either side with an open niche and glass shelf for often used items. Wall mounted faucets keep the countertop tidy and a wide mirror with 3 LED light strips make morning prep a little easier. The large scale porcelain floor tile wraps up the vanity wall as well as into the shower.

This coastal summer vacation house down in the Cape Cod, MA area has a fun, bright and bold atmosphere. It was designed to fit a large amount of family and friends in a compact space. The house is described as " The Tiffany box blue" and is a showcase project in the Home Remodeling Magazine August 2016 edition- South Coast/Cape & Islands/South Shore.

The space in the guest bathroom is small so I designed a custom walnut vanity with an "apartment size" sink to retain counter space and deep open storage. The floor is cut stone tile.

To create enough room to add a dual vanity, Blackline integrated an adjacent closet and borrowed some square footage from an existing closet to the space. The new modern vanity includes stained walnut flat panel cabinets and is topped with white Quartz and matte black fixtures.

Boasting views of the Museum of Natural History and Central Park, the Beaux Arts and French Renaissance style building built in 1900 was once home to a luxury hotel. Over the years multiple hotel rooms were combined into the larger apartment residences that exist today. The resulting units, while large in size, lacked the continuity of a single formed space. StudioLAB was presented with the challenge of re-designing the space to fit a modern family’s lifestyle today with the flexibility to adjust as they evolve into their tomorrow. Thus, the existing configuration was completely abandoned with new programmatic elements being relocated in each and every corner of the space. For clients that are big wine connoisseurs, the focal point of entry and circulation lies in a 400 bottle, custom built, blackened steel and glass, temperature controlled wine cabinet. The once enclosed living room was demolished to create one main entertaining space that includes a new dining area and open kitchen. Hafele bi-folding pocket door slides were used in the Living room wall unit to conceal the television, bar and display shelves when not in use. Posing as kitchen cabinetry, a hidden integrated door opens to reveal a guest bedroom with an en suite bathroom. Down the hallway of wide plank ebony stained walnut flooring, a compact powder room was built to house an original Paul Villinski installation of small butterflies cut from recycled aluminum cans, entitled Mistral. Continuing down the hall, and through one of the walnut veneered doors, is the shared kids bedroom where a custom-built bunk bed with integrated storage steps and desk was designed to allow for play space and a reading corner. The kids bathroom across the hall is decorated with custom Lego inspired hand cast concrete tiles and integrated pull-out footstools residing underneath the floating vanity. The master suite features a bio-ethanol fireplace wrapped in blackened steel and integrated into the Tabu veneered built-in. The spacious walk-in closet serves several purposes, which include housing the apartment’s new central HVAC system as well as a sleeping spot for the family’s dog. An integrated URC control system paired with Lutron Radio RA lighting keypads were installed to control the AV, HVAC, lighting and solar shades all by the use of smartphones.

Clawfoot tub by Waterworks in an elegant master bathroom in a major remodel of a traditional Palo Alto home. This freestanding tub was painted a custom color on site. Notice the decorative tile border on the wainscot. A ledge allows room for a sculpture. There is both recessed lighting and surface-mounted lighting as the custom vanity made of cherry wood has shaded wall sconces.

Specific to this photo: A view of our vanity with their choice in an open shower. Our vanity is 60-inches and made with solid timber paired with naturally sourced Carrara marble from Italy. The homeowner chose silver hardware throughout their bathroom, which is featured in the faucets along with their shower hardware. The shower has an open door, and features glass paneling, chevron black accent ceramic tiling, multiple shower heads, and an in-wall shelf. This bathroom was a collaborative project in which we worked with the architect in a home located on Mervin Street in Bentleigh East in Australia. This master bathroom features our Davenport 60-inch bathroom vanity with double basin sinks in the Hampton Gray coloring. The Davenport model comes with a natural white Carrara marble top sourced from Italy. This master bathroom features an open shower with multiple streams, chevron tiling, and modern details in the hardware. This master bathroom also has a freestanding curved bath tub from our brand, exclusive to Australia at this time. This bathroom also features a one-piece toilet from our brand, exclusive to Australia. Our architect focused on black and silver accents to pair with the white and grey coloring from the main furniture pieces.

This bathroom is found in the basement of the house. With low ceilings and no windows, the designer was able to add some life to this room through his design. The double vanity is perfect for him and hers. The shower includes a steam unit for a perfect spa retreat in your own home. The tile flowing over to the ceiling brings in the whole room. The mirrors are electric mirrors which include great lighting and a tv inside the mirror itself! Overall, it's the perfect escape from a long day at work or just to simply relax in.
