Boyce Lumber & Design Center

In January of 2016, a 75-year-old internal shower valve failed causing extensive water damage to a second floor bathroom and the kitchen below. It was immediately apparent that I was facing a total replacement of the kitchen and was truly overwhelmed. My General Contractor, Paul Snyder of Great Spaces Inc., referred me to Robert at Boyce Lumber to design the kitchen. After our first meeting, I knew we would work well together. Robert’s knowledge and years of experience gave me confidence that he would do an outstanding job. Knowing this and having a clean slate to work with, I created a vision. However, it was obvious that there were significant challenges. Matching the high quality of construction and design of the rest of the house was one challenge. Blending the adjacent Butler Pantry and laundry area to create a more functional and esthetically pleasing greater kitchen area was another. Robert was the perfect fit for meeting these challenges. His appreciation for the historic character of the house and his attention to detail were extremely valuable. We also worked with Carole Cummings, Function First Home Planning, whose expertise brought another level of support and compliment to the project. It was obvious that Robert took personal pride to ensure a great outcome which resulted in a kitchen that far exceeded my vision and expectations. Thank you Robert for a job extremely well done!

Logan Stark kitchen design specialist at Boyce Lumber And Design Center, Missoula Montana is a professional with attention to detail and acute professional service. Logan was apart of our home remodel for one year. The master bath cabinets are her design. The kitchen was the last of the home and we knew the existing was not working she completely transformed my space and it is absolutely beautiful. She makes the process fun and I would have her in a heartbeat on any home remodel. I could not be more happy with the end result.

I love this place and have been going there for years. I think I've learned a bit about design from their floor examples. Recently, I built a home and received quite a bit of help from them. Jesse not only helped me find the doors, flooring, windows, siding, hardware, etc. for my project but even gave me some ideas that saved me money and improved the results. Joan Crall at Boyce Lumber and Design Center has guided me during the building of two homes – she is outstanding. Joan works creatively and professionally to design cabinetry in kitchens and bathrooms. Due of her level of experience, Joan is able to make helpful suggestions during the planning process, which make beautiful cabinetry functional and within my budget. Instead of becoming stressful endeavors, working with Joan made the projects enjoyable.

I am an interior designer and I have worked with Boyce on many different projects. I am always impressed with the level of professionalism, creativity and client satisfaction that they consistently provide. Both Logan and Joan are extremely helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable about all of Boyce's product lines. I worked with Logan on my own home remodel and I am thrilled with the result. Logan was able to help me realize my very specific vision down to the last detail, even down to the custom color and stainless steel inserts that we formulated for the bathroom cabinets. She was able to provide me with computerized architectural drawings that showed the exact design and scale for my review prior to placing the order. We had a lot of fun coming up with unique, creative ideas. As an interior designer it is very refreshing to work with someone who loves and understands design just as much as I do. She is always willing to entertain any new ideas and loves to be on the leading edge of new design concepts.
