My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

We actually began a remodel of our kitchen and master bedroom with a design/build firm other than Sardone/McLain. After a few months of back-and-forth with the designer and builder it became apparent that they didn't really seem interested in anything other than getting the contract. We'd also started hearing stories from our neighbors about the firm not finishing jobs in a timely manner, and going days or weeks without showing up. Even though we'd already spent several thousand dollars with them we decided to look at other firms. Through Houzz we found Sardone / McLain. When they took over this project, they came over and wanted to know how we live in our house. they asked "What are the things about the house you love? What are the things that you would like to see better. How do you use it? Where do you spend most of your time? Where do your guests congregate?" They got to know US first, and that comfort level you can't put a price on. Sardone/McLain then coupled a beautiful design and superior craftsmanship to create a space we absolutely love. A special thanks to Stephan, Bryan, Ayah and Jack for bringing this space to life! James J. Barb J.

We contracted with Sardone-McClain to update the interior of our 1970s ranch. The Reno consisted of 75% of the total structure, including a new master bath, a new and expanded kitchen, a new laundry room, and moving a bed/bath from tkhe back of the house to the front. The entire Reno took six months and we had to move out to an apartment. Including the design phase it was a 16 month project. Sardone-McClain was a simply perfect partner throughout. Their designer patiently took us thru every option from island design to cabinet hardware. She had a unique ability to translate our vision into reality. The construction phase went incredibly smoothly. Sardone’s relationship with its contractors ensures quality work done on time. Our on-site project manager was present everyday and ensured quality and communication. The job was completed on time and we were involved every step of the way. After completion, Sardone continued to stand beside their work, promptly addressing minor cosmetic issues and providing us with a home of which we are truly proud. I would say Sardone-McClain went above and beyond but truth be told, they were simply exactly who they said they were. Partners in the project with a sterling reputation and honesty which they truly valued. I would recommend them to my family

In my 4-year tenure at Sardone McLain, I not only gained immense professional experience but also had the privilege of being part of a fantastic company culture. The team was made up of talented, passionate individuals who truly cared about both their work and each other, making it a pleasure to collaborate with them daily. The clients we worked with were equally wonderful, which made every project that much more rewarding. I’d highly recommend choosing Sardone McLain to remodel your home. They’ve invested in many resources and tools, refined their design-build process to ensure you, as the homeowner, receive quality work, and provide superior communication from conception to post-construction. They make what is typically a difficult process as smooth and seamless as possible. For those of you who have considered general contracting your own project or thought about using different designers and contractors—don’t! Save yourself the hassle and contact Sardone McLain. You'll not only get amazing results, but you'll work with people who truly care about making the experience positive from start to finish.

Most of our friends who’ve done remodels or additions basically hate their contractors by the time they’re done. Not so with Sardone!! We loved the finished product, and were thoroughly impressed by their continued attention to detail. When something went wrong with our new AC due to an oversight by a sub months after the project was completed, they made sure it got fixed at no cost to us. We’ve enthusiastically recommended the firm to a neighbor looking to expand their home’s footprint, and would do so again. Thanks, SM.

Exceptional service and quality work! We would have had them renovate our entire house if funds were unlimited. It’s been over a year and we’re still loving the updates!

Poor Quality of Work, Does NOT Stand Behind It: Our home was built by Sardone Construction in 2015. In 2023 all of our wood siding completely rotted and we began having multiple leaks inside our home. Every siding company we called to fix it said the same thing: this should never happen to a house this young; the materials (type of boards and paint) used were wrong, the wood was not primed, the seams were aligned incorrectly and thus it was a completely avoidable problem caused by shoddy workmanship. It cost us $30,000 to remedy the issue by replacing ALL of the siding. We reached out to Sardone Construction who completely ignored us and refused to make things right or stand behind their work. Would strongly advise against hiring them unless you want things to fall apart much sooner than they should and be stuck paying for the repairs yourself.

Comment from Sardone | McLain:
We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns regarding your experience with the home built by Sardone Construction. As a company committed to delivering quality craftsmanship and exceptional service, we take all feedback seriously.
We are sorry to read about your experience. This is unusual for us to hear of given our decades of experience and our commitment to quality construction practices. Our team adheres to industry best practices and uses materials that meet or exceed industry standards. Additionally, our construction processes undergo rigorous quality control measures to ensure the longevity and integrity of the structures we build.
It's important to note that exterior elements such as exterior siding can be subject to various environmental factors and maintenance requirements, which may impact their longevity. Without that maintenance, the quality of the material and its effectiveness will diminish quickly. We recommend regular inspections and maintenance to prevent any potential issues from escalating. Given that this project was built for a previous homeowner 9 years ago, it may be helpful if you contacted the prior homeowner to address what maintenance, if any, was performed on the siding. We would also be happy to review any of the information you obtained from other siding companies.
Regarding your attempts to contact us, we apologize if there was any miscommunication or oversight on our part. We strive to address customer concerns promptly and professionally. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. We hope to have the opportunity to be of service in the future.

Our family hired Sardone McLain Construction to complete a complicated window removal and repair in our home. We searched for months trying to find the right contractor for the job and ultimately selected them; we are so glad we did. Brian and his team were detailed in identifying the problem, laying out the plan to repair and more importantly doing exactly what they say they were going to do. These guys are the real deal - professional, amazing customer service, experts in their field and get things done on time. I can't thank them enough for fixing an 18-month issue in my home in less than 2-weeks.

Upstairs addition including a game room & guest bathroom - Excellent work, beautiful finish out, I absolutely love the way it turned out! Guys were always on time, respectful and clean. They were open to my ideas and revisions as they came up and always had a fix if something unforeseen came up. Will definitely use for my next project and will gladly recommend to anyone needing a builder or remodeler.

I hired Sardone Construction for a home remodel. I decided that it needed to be done in two phases; the whole house needs quite a bit of repair and updating. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Brian and Nicole and the team! Throughout the planning and actual work, I was informed of every step - they were completely on schedule. Everyone, including the subcontractors, was professional and efficient. Pricing was fair and the quality of the work is 5-star. I checked on the progress every day and was amazed how efficient they performed the work and how clean they left the work site each day. They even took special care of some items I left in the way. When I had questions, they were patient and explained it in a way I could understand. I have a list of things for Phase 2. I look forward to working with them again. I definitely recommend Sardone Construction.

Stephan and his team did a fantastic job on our remodel. They had great ideas during the design phase and worked hard to stay on schedule and within budget during the execution. All of the tradesmen they brought in did high quality work - no complaints anywhere. The attention to detail is evident throughout - from redesigning the HVAC and electrical systems all the way down to the carpentry with the baseboards. I think what we appreciated the most was the communication at every step - obviously they had multiple projects going, but that was never evident in how they handled our job. Great results - great service. 10/10 would recommend.

Sardone Construction worked with me on two projects back to back. First, they did some light drywall repair, painting, and installation of some specialty lighting for art in my new home. Second, they did some heavy drywall repair and a complete interior paint job in the home I had just moved out of to prepare it for sale. There were a couple of issues in the final walk through and they corrected the issues immediately. The quality of the work was to my satisfaction and I am a very particular consumer. Stephan Sardone is a man of integrity and I only do business with people of integrity.
