Motiani Design

I've had the pleasure of working with Veerta for almost a year on my entire home remodel. My house was in good condition, but it wasn't a reflection of me - it was much more my house than my home. I had hired and parted ways with another designer, and interviewed at least 10 others, but nobody was really able to listen to my partially formed, abstract concepts and ideas, and actually turn them into a physical design. Until I met Veerta. She came with an amazing amount of her own ideas, and they all fit into my overall goal of turning the house I purchased into the home that is a reflection of myself and my personality. She was also different than any other designer I have worked with or interviewed in many ways - 1. She spent a lot of time listening to my half formed (difficult for me to articulate) thoughts, and used them to shape the overarching theme of the design. 2. She enabled me to be a real part of the process in countless small and unique ways. While there is no way I could have personally designed my home without Veerta, when I walk in the front door I "feel" like I created it. With past designers, when I walked in my front door it felt like I was walking into their home. I can't put my finger on any one thing that Veerta did that made me feel that way, but having worked with other designers before, it is an immensely important skill for a designer to have and a big differentiator between Motiani Design and other design firms. 3. She was incredibly reliable. Veerta never missed a meeting and was always on time. She was always on schedule and most of the time ahead of schedule. 4. She ensured there was a consistent flow throughout all the rooms of the home. Many designers can help you choose a couch/rug combination, but Veerta had the entire house in her head the whole time and used it to guide all of our decisions. 5. She made me feel like I was always a priority. Even though I know she had multiple other jobs she was working on she made me feel like my home was incredibly important. I'm quite confident she did this with the other jobs she was concurrently working on as well. Past designers haven't made me feel that way. 6. She was very budget conscious. She spent a huge amount of time finding high end materials at a low cost for some of my rooms that had smaller budgets than the primary home. I would highly recommend Veerta Motiani and Motiani Design. The house I bought is now my home, and I absolutely love it.

We had the privilege to work with Motiani Design over the course of a large project. Veerta is just fantastic to work with. She has the ability to walk into a space, meet the clients and immediately envision the perfect end result. By having a great sense of design with colors, textures, and an overall vision that works seamlessly together, it is our pleasure to work with her.

I had the pleasure of having Vee come into my living room and transform it into a place I wanted to spend time in again. I have lived in the same apt for 18 years and the 4 walls of my apt were being to drive me crazy with boredom. I don't that "creative gene" that some people have been blessed with. Enter Vee Motiani, with just a few simple suggestions on the placement with the furniture I had, I am now living in a home that I can't wait to come home to. My apt looks and feels so much bigger and open. I've had friends over and all I get is compliments on how great my place looks. My bedroom is next - can't wait to see how it's transformed. One thing I know is that it will be lovely!

MOTIANI DESIGN is an extremely professional, creative, and stand out company to collaborate with. Veerta has an incredible eye, the ability to work on a budget, and a positive attitude. I hired her to design my International Production Company office space, which had its share of challenges. Creating a space that suits a chic international aesthetic (French and American), a space that is creatively inspiring for writers, producers, and talent, and for these inspiring aesthetics to also compromise the visions of three male producers and one female. Essentially, the space came out beautifully and addressed all of the concerns above, and then some. This was not only on a tight budget, but in a tight space that needed to function as a workspace for up to 4 people, but on a regular basis house 1. Veerta meticulously crafted the space into a fully functioning office to hold meetings in a communal corner with comfortable couch seating and utilized a dining room table as a desk to adequately seat all 4 Executives or just the 1. Once the functionality was in place, she continued to add decor touches such as plants, lamps, books, framed wall prints, etc. to add that special touch of creativity that does indeed inspire. I could not be happier with the results and found Veerta to be an absolute pleasure to work with.

I hired Veerta when I was in desperate need of a studio makeover. I wasn't sure how to use the space or what I needed to spruce up the apartment. A friend of mine recommended I use Veerta Motiani. She came by took a look at the apartment and came up with some great ideas. She really was able to make the space feel bigger. My place looks like I easily spent a fortune on it because Veerta put time searching for the things I wanted and found all the great deals. I couldn't be happier with my place.
