Jerry can highly recommended to do a bathroom remodel for us. The project took forever to get completed and after Jerry was paid for his services he treated us unprofessional through a text message. Poor communication and would not recommend him for any further services. Bad experience and poor service

We are thrilled with our new home!!! We love contemporary/modern homes and these guys are the best around in this genre. Jerry and Nichole have genuine gifts in design and envisioning a space and they know how to execute on the vision. It seems to me they have some of the most talented subs working for them too. They are also sweet, honest people. Home building is stressful and there are likely to be hiccups (our project was NOT small). They made everything right and that offers peace of mind. We would use them again--though we plan to be in this home for quite a while!

Fabulous!!! This represents the second home we have built, so we have some basis for comparison of the building process. The new house is relatively "high-end" having 4 bedrooms, a walkout basement, a number of custom features, and geothermal heating/cooling. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Jerry and Nichole Bussanmas during the construction of our new home. We also want to acknowledge the work of the sub-contractors. They were competent, friendly, and always willing to answer questions. The trim carpenters were especially good, which was important to us because of all the wood throughout the house. Although Jerry and Nichole may be more known for contemporary style homes, we wanted a Craftsman style home, and we could not be happier with the results. From the design stage and all the way through the construction and painting, they were excellent. We previously lived in a town about 100+ miles from the site of the new house, thus limiting our ability to monitor the work on a frequent basis, but we always felt that Jerry and Nichole were on top of things and routinely communicated with us regarding the progress or if there were any questions. Their attention to detail and "making things right" was very much appreciated. We always had the final say on everything ... the appliances, fixtures, flooring, colors, etc. Sometimes the number of decisions we made was almost overwhelming. The final construction cost was about 5-6% higher than the estimate, but this was partly due to our selecting more expensive products than was bid. It took about a year to complete the construction, which was close to the predicted timeframe (not including landscaping which was performed by another company). Not only were Jerry and Nichole very knowledgeable and competent, but they were a pleasure to work with and always had a positive attitude. We would highly recommend!!

Jerry, Nick, Nichole, and Kelsey are a great team. We had many questions throughout the process of building our first home, and the Bussanmas family was extremely knowledgable and informative. They offered great suggestions and guidance during each phase of the build. Being pregnant (emotional, neurotic, and irrational) proved to be a challenge for my husband and for me, but Nichole was always helpful in alleviating my stress, especially when it came to the detailed finish work and helping us make decisions that stayed true to the style we envisioned for our home. Each day after work my husband and I would stop by to check on the progress of our home, and we were always very impressed with Jerry's crew . The construction manager, Cade, was very friendly and easy to work with, and he took the time to answer our endless questions. We were also especially pleased with the trim carpenters, their attention to detail, and the overall design and quality of their work. My husband and I feel very lucky that our home was built by Jerry Bussanmas. I cant say enough about the quality and craftsmanship of his work. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Jerry.

Montgomery, client: In 2013 we went thru the home building process for our 4th time. This time we built with Jerry and Nichole Bussanmas for our first fully-custom built home. Our former house and this build were both pretty large builds, right about 6,000 SF each but the former very traditional and our Bussanmas house very contemporary. So lots to plan and execute! Custom building brought with it so much excitement and opportunities to make this house EXACTLY what we wanted, I would highly recommend it (provided you have a top notch builder like Jerry with ample experience). I could easily where it could go south fast if you did not have an experienced leader at the helm like Jerry! The custom building process was a little daunting at first (yet so very exciting too) however we had Jerry and Nichole at our side to help us bring our house to life. In addition to answering questions, they had many fun and unique suggestions and sound advice (from past experiences) to steer us appropriately. But they did not dictate what we did. After all, it was our house to build and that's how they view it. What we appreciated so much is that no matter how big our idea, they were willing to take it on with us! We did some unique things including a 15' waterfall above our fireplace. Jerry hadn't done this particular thing before but he didn't flinch either and he and his building foreman were eager to make it work! Together we found a supplier in Orlando, had it white-glove delivered across 5 states and put it up!! Five guys and 850 lbs but it went up!! Some adjustments were made here and there to our fireplace vents to make sure all met code, and to the cage they built to house it, a few water flow tweaks, and then we surrounded it in tile (a perfect vision of Nichole's) and it was up and running and stunning!! We also did another first-time project which was building LED-lit Corian desks in our boys bedrooms and my crafting room that change colors. Another success and just not something you see everywhere. I will say if there's something you want to do, Jerry and Nichole will find a way and their list of extremely qualified, like-minded suppliers will get it done! Finally, I will say Jerry did an excellent job in his estimating expenses for the job. That was also very different than what we had experienced with the other set price builds we had done before. But it was the most rewarding too! I am a hands-on person so I was interested in seeing the invoices as they came in and watch, at times, the savings unfold when we came in under budget on a number of line items. That helped us to know too if we wanted to spend more on other things yet to be done because of the cost savings we incurred early on in the build. We had some overages (due to our own desires), some underages, but in the end it all balanced out and we got exactly the house we wanted for the price we wanted! I would highly recommend Jerry Bussanmas for a quality house, unique design and finishing, and a rewarding and fun time doing it!!

Jerry was very easy to work with and displayed complete professionalism. He provided us with our beautiful dream home at a very fair price. All sub contractors were great to work with and very respectful. Overall, the building process was a very good experience.

Jerry Bussanmas designed and built our custom walkout ranch in Iowa in the fall of 2013. From initial planning to final finishing they were great to work with and made the process fun and exciting. They bring unique and fresh ideas to the design and finishing which differentiates themselves from every other builder in the area. We couldnt be happier with the end product and the process and we won't use anyone else.

Jerry has built two houses for me and a few for close friends and my brother. Every house was great and we all found working with Jerry ( and Nicole ) was fun and enjoyable. His ideas on cool designs, yet taking into account functional design along with his understanding that a budget is necessary is the best in the business.

The staff was able to guide us so that we stayed within our budget without allowing our eyes to become bigger than our wallets...which is very easy to do in the overwhelming process of picking out every detail!
