This is the second time we have worked with Thomas Development + Construction and both times we had a wonderful experience with Matthew and Lindsay. The first time was 7 years ago on a remodel (which was on budget and on time) and we just completed a new build with him. I constantly hear my friends tell me about their frustrations with their contractors (missed budget, missed deadlines, poor communication etc) and we feel so fortunate to have found Thomas Development because that has NEVER been the case with them. Both Matthew and Lindsay are EXTREMELY organized which is critical when there are so many decisions that need to be made. They literally think of everything and really work with you to create a finished product that matches your style. They are very transparent throughout the entire process and jump through hoops to keep the project on track. Despite so many set-backs (weather was not on our side, COVID hit two months into our project etc), they still managed to get us in just a few weeks after our original move in date. I would never use another contractor and I HIGHLY recommend Thomas Development. Our home far exceeds our expectations and we are so grateful to Thomas Development.

Matthew and Lindsey Thomas were great to work with. They were responsive, honest, and candid and we always knew where we stood. It was a collaborative partnership and we were kept up to date on our project at times daily, or at least weekly (great for type A people like myself). Despite our weather challenges, they were able to complete our project on time and maybe even a bit earlier than anticipated. I would highly recommend Thomas Development and would definitely hire them again.

Matthew Thomas and his wife Lindsay are amazing to work with. Whenever we hit a snag (due to oue original construction they offered up 3 alternatives and talked us thru each step. We opted to come in under budget and add more time to our project on a couple of snags and we could literally not be happier. I would recommend them to anyone for a remodel and if... IF we ever move they will definitely be looking at our new house prior to buying!

I cannot recommend Thomas Development and Construction enough. We had a sizable remodel/expansion home project that was well over $300k. I was introduced to many different potential contractor builders through our architecture firm but through my own diligence, found Thomas D&C. I am so glad I did. Our project was a significant challenge as it was a remodel/expansion to a home that had already been renovated. Matthew Thomas was absolutely phenomenal to work with. He communicated with me - frequently. He was on site nearly every day. He would spot areas where I could save money and still not compromise the look and quality I/we wanted. He involved me every step of the way with a management tool that told me where we were in the process and what was coming up next as well as the timeline to completion. When something wasn't right or to my liking, he never debated, he just delivered and resolved the matter to my satisfaction. In the end, he was still "proactively" fixing, repairing or touching up things that I had not even noticed. He and Lindsay's attention to detail are extensive. It's no wonder they build the high-quality product that they do as nothing gets by them. Our project came in on time and within budget. While you will appreciate how easy it is to work with TD&C, what you will appreciate most is the QUALITY of their work! We couldn't be happier with our new home!

Thomas Development and Construction has been excellent to work with. We are pleased with the work and the end product. Our house is exactly what we wanted and was well constructed. We recently used Thomas Development and Construction for a complete remodel of our 1950's era home. We expanded several walls and added on a second story to the original exterior. The interior was completely gutted, and they installed all new electrical, plumbing, flooring, drywall, finishes, etc. Their workmanship was stellar - every single detail came out perfectly. From a design standpoint, it was very important to us to maintain some of the original style of the home, while incorporating modern features and elements. Matthew Thomas and his architect did a great job of designing and building out a home that not only fits well in our neighborhood, but also perfectly suits the modern style we were shooting for. They really listened to us and executed exactly what we were looking for--adding some great elements and suggestions of their own along the way. Matthew and his team also did a wonderful job of managing our expectations throughout the entire project, and addressing any concern we had throughout the build. They were very respectful of our decisions and budget, and went above and beyond to ensure our complete satisfaction.

We hired Thomas Development for a renovation project. Throughout the renovation Matthew was extremely responsive and kept us in the loop. When we needed a suggestion, we knew we could trust Matthew with a viable solution. The quality of work was exceptional and completed in a timely fashion. He has an attention to details that we very much appreciated. Matthew has a laid back demeanor that translates into being approachable from both sides of a project. He had a way of keeping everything moving forward without feeling too rushed when making critical decisions. We went over-budget but it was because of our decisions and not Matthew steering us there. He tried to keep everything within a reasonable budget. I am highly recommending this construction company.

Full remodel of interior home which included 2 bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, hardwood/tile throughout, new baseboards, door frames and doors as well as converting a covered patio into an office. If want a GC that is detail oriented and goes the extra the mile to ensure you are satisified then hire TDC! Their willingness to work with my industry contacts and keep an open dialogue was a key component for hiring them. TDC went over and beyond in regards to communication to ensuring all questions were clarified for their subs. The sub-contractors that are part of the TDC team were extremely professional, knowledgeable and efficient. TDC's experience and overall design knowledge was evident when contributing solutions to issues that we didn't have an answer for. We had a set of drawings and a vision and TDC made it all a reality! We look forward to working with them again!

Thomas Development, Matthew, Lindsay, and all their associates made this project happen! We were able to transform our 1939 house into a property that has everything we need in 2015+. The workmanship and team effort made this an efficient process my wife and I enjoyed tremendously. Thanks!!!
