Every aspect of the doors has been done with an understanding of how it will affect everyday use and maintenance. The glass doors fold back for easy cleaning. The draft control is heavy duty. The fit and finish are outstanding! The gold plating over brass means that the finish will not tarnish or be affected by heat over time. Jerry even supplied spare glass for the doors in the event of breakage! The care with which the doors were installed was a pleasure to watch. The word heirloom comes to mind as these doors will probably last for centuries. They are beautiful!
