Dan completed two SDUs for myself and business partners and we were so impressed not only with the quality of the work, but also how smooth the project unfolded, on time and on budget. Dan and his team were extremely professional, organized, knowledgeable and respectful which was greatly appreciated. Can't wait for our next project with Dan and crew!!

Disaster Three jobs are were terribly managed Still waiting to get paid for 2 Will take down once paid. Book out cottage to rent and sent us same day one hour drive up north . Another job his guys broke glass and we had to fix Ar his cost and then he said homeowner will pay home owner said he is not paying . Once again we are out of pocket.

We have gone with Ascent contracting for several large and small scale renovations. They have completed two Secondary Dwelling Units for us in two different properties and some other smaller projects. They are always on time and on budget. Dan has high standards when it comes to quality and workmanship. This is easily seen in the renovations they have done. Dan always comes up with creative and cost effective solutions in a timely manner. I have dealt with other contractors in Ottawa, and Dan is the best in my opinion. We will continue to use Ascent for future projects and I will continue to recommend them to others.

At 37 weeks pregnant with a DIY renovation project that was taking longer than planned we called Ascent and were not disappointed. Dan responded immediately and helped us complete our project just in time! Staff are courteous and extremely accommodating. We're pleased with the outcome and have a better home, which we can now enjoy as a new family.
