Proland Development

We hired Proland Development, Inc. (Jack Lichtner, General Contactor) for a $300,000 project. We are now getting ready to spend over $100,000 to fix his deficient work. We have had a half dozen leaks in the new roof he had installed (including a new leak just today). He submitted an obsolete version of the plan to the permit office and to his subcontractors. Our plan called for the valleys of the roof of the sunroom to be centered on the chimney but they are not. The foundation for one of the walls of the addition was off by about 2 inches and did not line up with the existing house. I waited about 6 months for Lichtner to fix the issues which arose from the misaligned foundation wall correctly (there are numerous dated engineering letters that prove how long I waited for Lichtner to fix the deficiency) but finally had to hire my own subcontractors to get it fixed right.
