Our owner and founder, Vic Remmers, grew up in a 1920s family home right here in Portland, and apprenticed with his father, a successful local home contractor. After learning the business, Vic launched Everett Custom Homes with his own team of successful custom home builders in 2009. Although located in Beaverton, we build exclusively in Portland. Our energy-efficient homes meld seamlessly with the unique soul, charm, and character of Portland’s neighborhoods. Our designs all feature classic architecture, floor plans, and ornamentation that demonstrate a careful attention to detail, right down to our vintage ceramic house numbers. Each home features high-efficiency appliances, double-paned windows, extra crawlspace insulation, low-maintenance landscaping, and sustainable Hardiplank siding. As custom home builders, we’re proud to say all of our homes are Earth Advantage Gold certified, and they also all carry comprehensive workmanship, systems, and structural warranties. At Everett Custom Homes, we employ local, experienced, craftsmen and use local suppliers whenever possible. What’s more, we donate tear-downs to North Portland’s innovative ReBuilding Center, where they are recycled in their entirety.
