Finding a designer is hard during normal times, but during the pandemic it was even harder. Modsy is an incredible design service that truly allows one to design their dream home without leaving their living room. The 3-D renderings are so realistic and truly helped me envision what my living room, office and dining rooms could be at their best. Francesca, my designer, is the absolute best. She responds so quickly and kindly to all my constant questions. Despite us never having met in person, she truly understood what my house needed and what style I am trying to achieve. The best part about Modsy, and Francesca in particular, is that they know how to expertly work with your existing furniture and then suggest just the right pieces to buy to make your design vision come true. I highly recommend using Francesca at Modsy to design your home.

I loved working with my interior designer from Modsy. She was knowledgeable and gave me some great ideas. The problem with this company is that when you place orders, you cannot get a person on the phone to discuss any issues you may have with your order, and response time is very slow. An example of lack of customer service - I ordered an office chair with the color 'beige' within the chair description on their site, and when it was sent to me, the box listed the chair as 'gray'. When I emailed help@modsy to return, I was literally told that the colors look different online, and that I can't return it, because that was what I ordered. Insulting, frustrating, and ultimately one reason why I won't deal with this company anymore. I returned some pillows a month ago that I ordered, and my account still has not been credited. I can't talk to anybody about this, because there is no customer service line that I can call. I've sent several emails with no response at all. I did get a response to the last email that I sent, asking me which pillows I returned, though I had sent them a screen shot of the pillows returned in one of my previous emails farther down the email chain. I called this to their attention, again no response. So, I'm just waiting for my refund. Who knows? Maybe I'll get it by Christmas. Great decorator service, but do NOT buy from them.

We moved to a home with a very open floor plan from kitchen to dining room to living room. I was encouraged by the scale and ease of measurements and I had a great call with my designer within a week. Unfortunately it went way downhill from there. My designer told me that I'd have my design on x date. I followed up every day and was repeatedly ignored. I finally got an answer that my designer wasn't on the project and it would be multiple extra days before I got my design. I ordered rugs and that went very well, they are good quality and reasonably priced. The dining room table that I ordered said "in stock" for two full months but never shipped and I kept asking for updates but was ignored. Finally I got a response that the table was discontinued and I'd get a refund. I think that if I hadn't kept following up, they would have just kept my money and never followed up. They finally refunded me but I logged in today and the site shows the same table available and deeply discounted. When I asked my (2nd) designer for other recommendations I got a message that she was also gone and someone else would recommend a table. The one they recommended was $1000 more than the one I originally paid for. The dining room chairs we ordered arrived in a timely manner but one was damaged. When I called to get a replacement, I was told that those too were discontinued and they couldn't replace the one chair. The sofa they recommended was out of stock multiple times. The original design clocked in at $20k even though I'd given a budget of 7-9 for 2 rugs, dining room table & chairs, and sofa. Not a good experience overall. They discounted my package because of the extreme delay in getting my design and they gave me 50% off of one of the chairs because of the damage and inability to replace. I finally ordered a sofa & loveseat & and dining room table directly from a retailer because the options were just inadequate and I can't trust Modsy to get the products to me.

The design is ok but don't order from them. The items that weren't from a well know brand were in horrible condition. Defective & sloppy workmanship for expensive items.

The design of my living room was beautiful. 5 stars The interaction with the designer was great. 5 stars Early November 2020 , I ordered several pieces of furniture that just arrived. Near 5 months !!! I agree with previous reviews . Take your inspiration from the design but shop more locally or directly with vendor such as PB, Crate and Barrel ( if you have one nearby ) or RH or others. I still do not have the rug , not even scheduled for a delivery .... The pieces of furniture that I substituted in the design, ( RH instead of Ravine, and PB instead of Crate and B ) came in time as scheduled .

I initially loved my experience with Modsy. Their design team is best in class and I absolutely adore the design for my open living /dining room. That said, the ordering experience has been a complete nightmare specifically with the Ravine Home furniture line. Go for the design inspiration and buy the furniture elsewhere. They advertise fast shipping and yet I have waited over 3 months some of my furniture to arrive...and I’m still waiting! In these unprecedented times I understand logistics can be a challenging, that said their customer service has fallen short of putting consumers like me at ease. Their lack of compassion and transparency is unfortunate and disappointing. They have done nothing to proactively communicate with me and do nothing to ease the burden that these delays are causing. Now a days, consumers expect compassionate customer service and I’m afraid Modsy has dropped the ball here. I hope this changes but I’m not optimistic.

Modsy is a waste of time & money. I joined for the Luxe package, specifically because of "communicate with your designer by phone calls". I leaned this meant ONE phone call, after which the designer blocked her calendar from all communication for 1 month. The initial design was unworkable (with the re-organization of furniture, the door wouldn't open) and dangerous (a ladder the designer described as "functional" had a product description "for display only, not to be stood on". The technology is not easy; when I repeatedly asked for assistance, I was sent an online tutorial in which even the Modsy rep couldn't get one function to operate. If you want to waste $500, just throw your money out the window & save yourself the aggravation.

I used Modsy for design help when I moved into my new home. I wanted to replace the vast majority of my living room furniture and was finally getting a formal dining room, so I needed some help with both rooms. I laid out what I was looking for and in what price range and the designs I got were great. You can narrow down your likes and dislikes using the example looks they provide. I had no idea my taste was "mid-century modern" just because it doesn't *sound* like something I'd like, but sure enough, that's what my taste is! :-) I purchased several items directly from Modsy and they are fantastic - really great pieces that are well made and stylish. I used the designs to find other items outside of Modsy, too, so even if you don't purchase directly through them, the inspiration is great. Highly recommend their design service.

I do not have a huge income or a huge house. I have a very small, narrow living room-dining room combination, and I was frustrated with trying to set it up tastefully and comfortably. When I saw the ad for Modsy on TV I checked it out and was able to apply a coupon making the cost so affordable, I had to try it. I didn't honestly think they would be able to do much because, in addition to having a small space, I had four larger pieces of furniture that I wanted to keep. I hadn't been able to figure out what to do, and I thought the Modsy designer would probably tell me, sorry, lady, there's nothing I can do! Instead, I was amazed at what I was sent. Two designs that I loved. The only hard part was deciding which one to go with. All of the furniture I wanted to keep was used, and there was no requirement that I purchase anything. Though what I needed most was a new layout design, the individual pieces that were recommended were easy to find at a reasonable price or easy to substitute. I wasn't sure how much I was willing to spend on a redecorating project, but I went ahead and added new dining room chairs, a new cabinet, new rugs and pillows, a couple of small tables, and a few other accent items (I got rid of some old stuff too). Now my room is coming together and it is both more functional, comfortable and beautiful! My only disappointment was the discount that I was supposed to get. It only amounted to 10% and I was hoping for more. So, I didn't end up buying many things from Modsy in particular, but that just ended up being a loss for them more than me because I was able to find a lot of good deals elsewhere. It just would have been nice to get what I wanted all in one place for a great price. Other than that, I was very pleasantly surprised!

Modsy and their team are FANTASTIC! They made the design process so easy and knew my style spot on from a few easy questions. The ordering process was seamless and the final order was actually $600 less than when I opted to order because they found additional brand discounts! Going on to do every other room in my house now and telling everyone about this incredible company!

I was looking for inspiration and a modern update to my family room. I received two designs from Modsy. I started with the recommended rug and a pillow in my favorite design. I was inspired by the colors, the layouts, the furniture pieces. It's taken months, the room, almost done except for some finishing artwork here and there, is a mix of both designs, new and old pieces and is EVERYTHING I wanted and some. I can say, it is truly the first time I've looked at a room in my own home and said, 'I love it!'. I will absolutely use Modsy again for my next project.

Purely amazing! I heard about Modsy from a co-worker and thought I would give it a try. I recently moved into a new house and really wanted to spend the time to make it look nice. While I certainly do not have the skill to design a room I turned to Modsy. From the start it was fantastic. The website is super easy to use and the prices and outstanding for the designs. In probably 15 minutes I had all the photos uploaded and my request submitted. I really like how the website guides your through some designs ideas that you like vs don’t like. This helps narrow down the style that appeals to you and helps with the overall design. After submitting the request, they kept me informed each day and only a couple days later I revived the designs. For me this first draft was 100% fine and I didn’t require any changes, but they do allow you to resubmit for additional edits or changes. Overall it was a fantastic process! I highly recommend them and this business strategy they have. It’s amazing and I will be doing more business with them in the future.
