Mark Downing

No better way to personalize a home then with a gorgeous set of front doors from Mark Downing. His doors and carvings are incredibly beautiful. These doors will be 8 feet tall. I can't wait to have them installed.

I am a furniture designer and maker who has known Mark Downing for roughly 30+ years. I have watched and greatly admired his beautiful design work and unique construction. My first encounter with him was in the late 70's when we were both working on some high end condominiums in the Sellwood Harbor area. I was most taken with his personal craftsmanship and attention to detail as a maker himself. Mark Downing is an incredibly talented craftsman. His skill, care, and attention to detail combine to produce beautiful results. Mark's deep knowledge of traditional building techniques (sadly rare in this day and age) and modern construction methods give him a great range for building truly livable works of art.
