When designing your steam shower please remember most tile crews and builders have no clue what they are doing. The building codes do not protect your home from steam damage.

You need to contain the vapour and the best way to do that is with Noble Company's NobleSeal TS.

The detail below one of my favourites.

You should consider how to build the sealed slip joint at the ceiling.

A bench.

LED Lighting.

And most important the materials used to set and grout the tile. You will want a modified setting material.

Here is a recent sketch on blocking. I think the only product to use on the walls is cement board. Wonderboard Lite my favourite. I strongly dislike the backer boards from Durock and Hardi Board.

Some companies allow the use of drywall in a steam shower build. This is insane advice and I would stay clear from any recommendations like this.
