Light-filled 3/4 bath pairs classic craftsmanship with a breezy coastal palette: magnolia-branch wallpaper wraps the walls between sea-glass-teal panel moulding, framing an oval mirror lacquered to match. A natural white-oak vanity with inset doors and satin-brass knobs is topped by a book-matched gray-veined marble slab counter and 6-inch backsplash. Polished-chrome bridge faucet, rope-wrapped brass sconces with white linen shades, and a neatly folded waffle-weave hand towel complete the serene, spa-like vignette.

White and grey bathroom with a printed tile made this bathroom feel warm and cozy. Wall scones, gold mirrors and a mix of gold and silver accessories brought this bathroom to life.

Dark stone, custom cherry cabinetry, misty forest wallpaper, and a luxurious soaker tub mix together to create this spectacular primary bathroom. These returning clients came to us with a vision to transform their builder-grade bathroom into a showpiece, inspired in part by the Japanese garden and forest surrounding their home. Our designer, Anna, incorporated several accessibility-friendly features into the bathroom design; a zero-clearance shower entrance, a tiled shower bench, stylish grab bars, and a wide ledge for transitioning into the soaking tub. Our master cabinet maker and finish carpenters collaborated to create the handmade tapered legs of the cherry cabinets, a custom mirror frame, and new wood trim.

This 4,000-square foot home is located in the Silversand section of Hermosa Beach, known for its fabulous restaurants, walkability and beach access. Stylistically, it’s coastal-meets-traditional, complete with 4 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, a 3-stop elevator and a roof deck with amazing ocean views.
The client, an art collector, wanted bold color and unique aesthetic choices. In the living room, the built-in shelving is lined in luminescent mother of pearl. The dining area’s custom hand-blown chandelier was made locally and perfectly diffuses light. The client’s former granite-topped dining table didn’t fit the size and shape of the space, so we cut the granite and built a new base and frame around it.
The bedrooms are full of organic materials and personal touches, such as the light raffia wall-covering in the master bedroom and the fish-painted end table in a college-aged son’s room—a nod to his love of surfing.
Detail is always important, but especially to this client, so we searched for the perfect artisans to create one-of-a kind pieces. Several light fixtures were commissioned by an International glass artist. These include the white, layered glass pendants above the kitchen island, and the stained glass piece in the hallway, which glistens blues and greens through the window overlooking the front entrance of the home.
The overall feel of the house is peaceful but not complacent, full of tiny surprises and energizing pops of color.

Retro vibes flow from this guest bathroom! The white vanity and slate colored tiled floor offer a crisp, clean look. The vanity lights give off a mid-century vibe which pairs perfectly with the bold deep red color of the walls.

The family living in this shingled roofed home on the Peninsula loves color and pattern. At the heart of the two-story house, we created a library with high gloss lapis blue walls. The tête-à-tête provides an inviting place for the couple to read while their children play games at the antique card table. As a counterpoint, the open planned family, dining room, and kitchen have white walls. We selected a deep aubergine for the kitchen cabinetry. In the tranquil master suite, we layered celadon and sky blue while the daughters' room features pink, purple, and citrine.

The combination washer/dryer, with pedestal below and cabinet above, provide an accessible alternative to the basement laundry. The homeowners chose to keep the old radiator which is true to the era of the house.

A gorgeous green tile stacked amid a luxurious bathtub clad in the coolest green silestone top. Brass grid shower doors flank either side of the shower/tub room opening. Pink fluted tile wrap the bench base. Exquisite craftsmanship at the vanity is set off with some really hefty hardware.

This charming home sits on a 500-acre horse farm in Lexington, KY, providing a peaceful retreat for a family of four and their two dogs. The homeowner not only lives here but also manages the property on behalf of the horse farm owner’s. The farm owner wanted to ensure that the family had a comfortable, welcoming space to unwind after a day’s hard work. To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with Ayers Custom Homes to design an abode full of thoughtful, beautiful details.
Every aspect, from the custom floors to the ceiling details, was carefully planned. We handpicked every feature in this home, resulting in a space filled with intricate, custom touches that make it stand out. The goal was to create a home that feels cozy, comfortable, and ready to be lived in from day one. The more time you spend here, the more you’ll notice the fine details—like the stone arches, coffered ceilings in the living room, detailed trim work, hickory floors, wood beams, and more. This home was crafted with love and precision, ensuring it’s a perfect fit for this wonderful family.

We took a dated bathroom that you had to walk through the shower to get to the outdoors, covered in cream polished marble and gave it a completely new look. The function of this bathroom is outstanding from the large shower with dual heads to the extensive vanity with a sitting area for the misses to put on her makeup. We even hid a hamper in the pullout linen tower. Easy maintenance with porcelian tiles in the shower and a beautiful tile accent featured at the tub.

Champagne brushed bronze fixtures contrast beautifully against wall tiles in varying shades of green laid vertically offering a handmade feel.
Giving a nod to the home’s treasured history, a custom walnut vanity with antique glass knobs ties into the bathroom’s original green glass doorknob, offering deeper storage while accommodating an elongated tub. Adding modern convenience, a new medicine cabinet with built in lighting and interior power hangs above the vanity.

Within the new design, the original arched detail, replicated in other places in the home, is preserved. Champagne brushed bronze fixtures contrast beautifully against wall tiles in varying shades of green laid vertically offering a handmade feel.
Woven wallpaper softens the room’s hard surfaces, and a sculptural alabaster stone ceiling light provides a touch of elegance, transforming the space with function while paying homage to the home’s historic origins.
