My first design project

I knew when I bought this house I13 years ago was going to remodel the master bath someday. I did the plan for the room first, then spent months deciding what materials to use. I tore out everything, including the closets. There's one before pic, and several after. It's all Calcutta gold marble.

Going lighter on walls, floors, and tub. Is great. Removing outdated glass brick, very good. Love your choice of flooring and Carrera marble. Not crazy for chandelier, seems out of place. If you need one. go a more modern, brush nickel. I think I would do it in center of ceiling instead of over tub. Not feeling that art over tub. I would add glass shelves and place a few items that fit decor.

The marble is Calcutta Gold, not Carrera. All fixtures are polished nickel. I did one piece of art because I'm more of a minimalist, I don't like knick knacks. The picture below shows the only decor in the room.

I love what you've done with your vanity area. But... I don't think you are on the right track with the choice of artificial flowers. I think you need something lower, more organic and that is in the same palette as the tub area (light fixture, paint colour or artwork). Just my two Canadian cents.

Can you give me an idea of what you mean? I'm not crazy about the flowers either.

I would like to propose something for your vanity counter that connects with the light fixture over the bath. Can you take a close up photo or tell me the model number/make etc?

Here it is, on and off. The dark places are shadows, it is all the same color. Thank you so much!

Here are some options for you to consider. I don't think you need to put anything in the vases - treat them as sculptures. You could put some white hand towels in the baskets. Hope this helps!

My pleasure:) You can find all of these all allmodern.com. If you do end up using one of my suggestions would you mind posting a review on my Houzz profile saying that I helped you in a design dilemma? Thanks:) Rebecca

Absolutely! Done! I bought the silver bowl above. Stunning!! Do you ever do long distance work?

Clean lines, clear glass, busy grayness, good materials, not innovative design. How you'll fight mold in those unreachable behind tub corners? Is there task lights above mirrors and in the shower? What the purpose of "trim" above floor in shower? I am not professional, but by common sense I moved drain farther, not to stay on it taking shower.

Wonderful job ggirl3708, I love the light fixture over the tub (for safety reasons you shouldn't be able to reach it when you're standing in the tub) and Rebecca sent you in the perfect direction for your countertop decoration. Beautiful! Oh and I rather like your art, art is subjective and really shouldn't be questioned in my opinion…..well unless it's an Elvis felt painting. :)

What type of window/ glass replaced the glass bricks.? Who was glass vendor? Great job

Thank you, Patsy! It's rain glass, looks like water is running down it to obscure but let the light in. I purchased it at Fox Building Supply.
