Need help with backsplash and paint color

I need some backsplash ideas. My house/design style is very traditional. I don't want to use the shiny subway tiles or anything contemporary. Also want to update the paint color. The paint colors in the rooms surrounding the kitchen are neutral. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
