Many advice posts have used this picture from Houzz to show dark gray with red brick, with good reason -- it's stunning! When you replace windows, get black or charcoal framed ones. Then paint your siding this dark bluish gray. Door could be charcoal or glossy black. Remove the grilled storm door or paint to match the door.

I like Mick 50's recommendation. Another option is to paint all the siding taupe and white wash the brick. New windows with black or off white window frames and devided light window panes. Paint the front door black. Loose the storm door as weather permits. If you must have one keep the lines simple and clean with as little distraction from a handsome front door as possible. Carve out a much larger planting area incorporating the tree and curving towards the walk way. Fill with evergreen and flowering perinials.

I agree black is the way to go.

Do not paint the brick! I would change the red paint to a lighter gray. Do you need that storm door for security? If not, replace it with an all glass storm door, and paint the trim the same color as the door.

Remove that blind from the large window. The outside appearance of windows can make or break curb appeal. Use grommet-top panels that are hung from a decorative rod. If they need to be closed make sure that you use enough panels for fullness and be sure they have a white lining to see from outside

I love the comments! The blind is used to help with privacy but also as a shade due to house being south facing, (although we have the large Honey Locust in front that has grown quite large). The storm door is for security but also it's nice to have it there when the front door is open, and allow ventilation to come through the screen. We did just get a new roof using charcoal gray shingles, and I love it and would like to replace the old windows with charcoal gray color trim ones I'll think about changing the red paint to a lighter gray- that might be really nice! I am working on enlarging the garden bed to wrap around the tree- got a bid for someone else doing it and it was $1200 so it will be another do it myself project.
