OK here is the deal. I have a huge backyard (San Antonio huge) that I'm looking for ideas on how to bring it all together. I love the tropical look but we're not closed in so I don't know how effective that will be. Not opposed to remodeling the deck and would love to get rid of that column but it is weight bearing and from all indication could get costly. Our view of San Antonio is fantastic which I want to take advantage of along with some landscaping to take up some yard and an out door kitchen/fireplace. Nothing is off the table with the exception of a pool - it would be great for decor but it wouldn't get the use. Not totally ruled out but... Thanks and I look forward to your help/feedback. Reggie.
