I'm considering painting the exterior of our house. The bottom half is a red(ish) brick facade, so that makes things a little tricky. Hopefully you can help provide some suggestions! Also - it might not be easy to tell from the photo but the shutters are currently navy.

I'm thinking these are our options:
A) Paint just the siding/trim/shutters and leave the brick as-is
B) Paint everything - including the brick*
C) Leave everything as-is

Would love to hear what option you recommend - and also paint colors. (Note: we aren't too crazy about red, tan or orange colors for the siding but some shades might not be totally out-of-the-question.)

*If you recommend painting the brick - any pro tips for techniques/paint types/maintenance would be appreciated!
