My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    We templated this and then had it custom fabrication at a local shop in Salt Lake City.

    Interested in doing something similar. Live in SLC too--who did you use to do the fabrication? What was the approximate cost? How did you attach the shelf above the washer/dryer. Thanks!

    We installed wall brackets along the three perimeters and then framed in the slab with a trim piece around the three sides after adhering it to the bottom perimeter braces. I hope that makes sense. Our fabricator for the countertop was Wasatch Steel. My husband's construction company installed it, www.utahrenovations.com Jean Flesher Construction.
